🥋 Ezra, Ana, and Omari Promoted to Gray Belt!

🩶🖤🩶 Coach Omari earned his final phase on his gray belt after an incredibly intense summer of training.

🩶🤍🩶 Ana earned her first gray belt phase after a hard-working summer. She trained relentlessly and helped the Summer Camp operate. Her commitment and positive attitude continue to set a great example for the team.

🩶🤍🩶 Ezra earned his first gray belt phase after impressing the coaching staff with his rapid skill development, growing confidence, and strong work ethic.

📈 We are proud to see these hardworking students rewarded for the effort they’ve put in all summer long. While many kids spend their summers sleeping in and glued to screens, the Crazy 88 kids chose to show up, train hard, and work toward their goals. 💪

Their progress is proof that consistency pays off.

Another strong weekend for the Owings Mills squad! 👏

🥇🥇🥇🥇 Coach Danny Mahoney captured Quadruple Gold, winning both of his weight divisions and closing out the open class with teammate Navarro in the Master 2 Brown Belt divisions.

🥇🥇 Jeremy Collins went a perfect 3-0 on the weekend, earning Double Gold in Master 1 Brown Belt with every victory coming by submission.

🥇 Brandon Fokala claimed Gold in White Belt Middleweight, going 3-0 with dominant wrestling, takedowns, and guard passing throughout the division.

🥈 Kehinde Sanni-Ojikutu took 2nd Place in White Belt Featherweight (154.6 lbs). Kehinde finished 3-1, with his only loss coming in a razor-close final. He completed a guard pass in the closing seconds, but time expired before the points could be awarded.

Congratulations to everyone who stepped on the mats and represented Crazy 88! 🔥

🏆 Brian is an IBJJF World Championship medalist and has earned titles at the regional and local levels as a blue belt.

His story is a great example of the lifelong impact of consistency, hard work, and community.

📚 Each month, students focus on a new set of techniques that they’ll practice throughout class and test on at the end of the month for their next stripes.
