🩷🩵Weekend Recap! 🩵🩷
It is always so special to celebrate our season and compete at home. While we are sad to see the season come to end end, we are excited to what comes next for our “Blue” teams! Thank you all for an amazing season!
📍AAU Blue Bridge Battle, Owensboro Kentucky
🩵12U Blue - Alexis
This past weekend, our 12U team wrapped up their season at our home tournament 🏐, taking on the challenge of playing up in the 13U division. Competing with a different ball 🏐 and against tougher competition than we’ve faced before pushed us in new ways. While the outcomes weren’t exactly what we had hoped for, the weekend was full of valuable learning experiences and meaningful challenges that helped close out our season on a strong note.
Over the course of this season, this team has shown incredible growth…not just in skill, but in confidence, teamwork, and resilience. They’ve supported one another, worked hard, and built friendships that we truly hope will last a lifetime. 🩵🩷 Coach Alexis and Coach Tay are beyond proud of everything this group has accomplished and the effort they’ve put in all season long. We’re already looking forward to getting back in the gym and building on this foundation next season. KPV 12U Blue out ✌️

Ending the season on an unfortunate losing streak this weekend. These girls battled through multiple injuries and uncomfortable scenarios. Despite all the challenges, we had a blast!! Played volleyball, ate Mexican, went to the park for a few, and then got snow cones! I am still so proud of them and how they kept their spirits up! I have loved watching them grow as leaders, athletes, and young ladies!! They worked SO hard to become the players they are today, and there is SO much potential for each of these young ladies to be great volleyball players! Thank you to the athletes and the parents! Ana and I have loved every second of this season!
🩵13U Blue - Sarah
We are incredibly proud of our team this weekend. While the wins may not have reflected the effort they put in, that was never the true measure of success for this tournament. The focus was on enjoying the game, supporting one another, and continuing to grow, and they did exactly that. Throughout their final tournament of the season, they showed resilience, positivity, and a willingness to keep improving every step of the way. Watching them play with heart, have fun, and embrace the moment together made this weekend something truly special.
🩷13U Pink - Hannah
after a slow start saturday, and me pushing these girls like never before, our 13 Pink girls played better than they ever have. cohesive, controlled, and competitive. their energy was unmatched, and their hearts and drive were on full display this weekend. i say it all the time, but it’s worth repeating: these girls are special. i couldn’t be more proud of how they finished the tournament placing 2nd in our bracket behind a very good team. growth is what we preach, and growing is exactly what they’ve done. i’m proud of who they are, and im proud of how they played this weekend, and i hope they are proud of it, too. we’re still not done yet, let’s go the big stage, girls 🩷

These girls have the most heart out of just about any team I have coached. They were down a middle this weekend due to injury and I cannot believe the games that they’ve won just by having a “no quit” mentality. They finished SECOND in GOLD to an open level team! This season has been so fun and Mayme, Gracie, and I could not be more proud of their growth, heart, and determination all season long.
🩷15U Pink - Zach
KPV 15 Pink played their best volleyball of the season, fully embracing recent changes and showing just how much they’ve grown as a team. Their energy, trust, and ex*****on were at a high level all tournament long, leading to a strong 3rd-place finish in Gold. The only loss came against the eventual champion, and it was clear this group is continuing to take big steps forward at the right time.

i dont even really know where to start with this team, they are truly something special. when we first started the season we faced a lot of tough losses but allowed those to become learning experiences. as the season went on we built both as a team and individually. this team was always having the most fun, on and off the court. they finished the season off 1st in sliver last weekend and 2nd in sliver this weekend after a tough loss to a really good team and that is something they should be incredibly proud of. ending this season is going to be the hardest for sure. we built very special bonds with each of the girls and their families. as this is my (coach brookelyn’s) last season coaching it brings so much love yet sadness to my heart ending it with this team. i cant wait to see them succeed in their high school and future club seasons. i will always be cheering them on, but this time from the stands.

So proud of our KPV 16U Pink for finishing 2nd in Gold this weekend. Falling just short in a thrilling, intense championship match (23-25 and 30–32)… losing by only 4 total points. Competing toe-to-toe with a well established Open level team and pushing them like that is a huge win all in itself. This weekend showed exactly who we are becoming. The fight. The drive. The willingness to go ALL in, not just individually, but for each other. That’s what matters most. That’s what separates good from elite. We are still learning how to be that elite team. Learning how to be seen as more than just a group of talent, but as a TEAM that competes with purpose, trust, and connection. That growth hasn’t always been easy, but it’s something I’m really proud of. Two national championship opportunities still ahead. We’re not done yet. 🩷🩵

This weekend made us incredibly proud of our girls. After game one on Saturday, they truly began to show how hard they’ve worked and how much they’ve grown. They never gave up, even while battling through adversity. This team continues to work hard, find joy even in the struggles, and grow closer together as one unit. Watching each player improve and compete for one another has been such a joy to coach. We’re excited to see what the next few weeks hold now that they’ve seen the level they are capable of playing at. The belief, fight, and togetherness are there and this is only the beginning. Obstacles don’t stop growth, they help you bloom.

Not our best weekend of volleyball, but that’s part of the game. We were missing one of our girls due to mono, and had a younger player step in and compete with us. Also had coach Sarah fill in for majority of the weekend due to scheduling conflicts! (thank you Coach Sarah!!)
Every team goes through challenges, and this was one of ours. What matters is how we respond, and I’m confident this group will use it to grow. We will learn from it, get better, and come back stronger than before.
🩷17U Pink - Carlee
We got second in gold this weekend and lost to a solid 18s team. This weekend wasn’t our prettiest volleyball, but it showed exactly who we are as a team. We faced a lot of obstacles, from a red card to things completely out of our control on the reffing side of volleyball, but instead of falling apart, we came together. We reminded ourselves that this game is meant to be both fun and competitive. We play because we love it, and learning to be kind to our minds while we play is just as important as any skill on the court. If anything, the challenges we faced lit a fire under us. And if anyone thinks making this team mad makes them play worse, they’re wrong. That just fuels us even more. This is not a team you want to push in that way. I’m beyond grateful these girls chose me to be their coach. This team means so much to me. They have the kind of passion and determination that every coach hopes for. Yes, they can be hard on themselves at times, but that is where I come in. My job is to help them get out of their heads and remember why they fell in love with this game.I will always go to bat for them, on and off the court. They may be a little stubborn, but I would not trade that or them for anything.🩷🩷

What a way to finish their 2026 Season!! Proud is an understatement when it comes to this team. From first practice to final set this team has been an immense blessing to coach. Thank you to our players and families for an amazing season. Ladies and gentlemen, your 2026 Blue Bridge Battle 17/18’s Silver Champions… KPV 18 Blue Sarah!

Today marks the end of a journey that’s been in the making for 4 years now. This team was so fun and they always knew how to step on the floor and have the most fun win or lose. Finishing 3rd in Silver and ending an era that Keely and I never wanted to end. Thankful to have had such a fun group for most of their last season of club ball ever. Good luck to all of my kids graduating and moving on to play at the next level. Represent your KPV home with pride and shine brightest every day!
More photos to come! 🩵
