⚾️ UMPIRE APPRECIATION! ⚾️

Let’s hear it for our amazing umpires! We caught photos of a few and appreicate all they do. They’re human too, and every now and then, they may miss a call or make a mistake, just like our players and coaches do too.

We cheer on our kids, encourage them, and give them grace when things don’t go perfectly. Let’s offer that same kindness and support to our umpires on the field. ❤️

This is Little League, a place for kids to learn, grow, make memories, and have fun! Let’s show them what respect, teamwork, and good sportsmanship look like.

Thank you to all of our umpires for sharing your time, energy, and love of the game with our kids. We appreciate you! ⚾️❤️

🥵With the temperature conditions getting worse for the next couple of days we are going to go ahead and cancel games for Wednesday and Thursday night.

⚾️ We will look for rescheduling soon. ⚾️

‼️Heatwave Notice‼️

🥵 ☀️ Our plan for today, Wednesday, and Thursday will be to adjust first game on all three fields to start at 6pm…second game starts at 7:30pm.

⏰ Time limit for Major and Minor games on these days will be 1:20.

This is the plan for now, but we will continue to monitor as days progress. We will have coaches communicate with teams if plans change.☀️ 🥵

🍕 Pizza will be available at concessions as grilling would be a very hot job!!! 🍕

FIELD 2 CONCESSIONS ARE NOW OPEN! 🎉⚾️

Need a quick snack while watching the game? We’ve got the basics covered—candy, Cokes, water, and more! 🍬🥤💧

Looking to grab dinner at the ballpark? 🍔🌭 Just take the short walk over to Field 1, where you can grab hamburgers and hotdogs.

Who else is excited about the convenience of having Field 2 concessions open?! 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

⚾️ 💥 ⚾️ The fall season at Owensboro Southern Little League kicks off tonight!

• Family and friends, let’s pack the park this season and support these kids as they develop not only baseball skills but life skills!

• Let’s show respect to the umpires and good sportsmanship with opposing teams!

• Look out for concessions on Field 2 as work is going on to get it open!

• Safety reminder: As there were a few accidents last season, E-bikes and E-scooters need to be walked once inside the facility!
