Weekend recap

Cedar ridge speedway. Kyler started out the night strong staring outside first row in his first night with the new motor. Had some great racing and said the motor was running really good until he got stuffed in the wall coming out of turn 2 breaking both steering arm bolts and bending one, bending the RF lower A-arm, blowing the RF break line, bending the RR break caliper bracket. And bending a few other parts. Huge thank you to Trent brooks, Bobby Gregory, and Jacob Richmond for being all the parts we needed and helping get back out there for the feature. Ended up pulling off in the feature after the RR break locked up.

Travis ran a great heat race starting first in the second heat. He had a great race with Bobby Gregory and ended up finishing second. He started fourth in the feature ran a good race until there was a pile up in turn 2 and he slid into them and destroyed the right side of the car.he ended up finishing 5/14

Windy hollow

Only kylers car showed up but ended up starting 7th in the heat race and after fighting problems with the car and having no brakes he finished 4th. He started 4th in the feature went to fire off the start and lost all power to the car ending his night.

Iā€™ve said it before and Iā€™ll say it again a HUGE thank you to Bobby Gregory, Trent brooks, and Jacob Richmond, as I got stuffed into the wall in the heat race and before the wrecker could get back to the trailer with my car they were already over there with all the tools and parts we needed to get the car back on the track for the feature. If it wasnā€™t for them we wouldnā€™t have been able to go back out for the feature and be able to race. We are so thankful to have them as a part of our team

We want to give a HUGE thank you to Trent Brooks bobby Gregory and Jacob Richmond. We went and got our new motor for the 44s put it in and found out it had a cracked head. These guys stepped up without a second thought and told us to bring the whole car to them and they would fix it for us. They did a lot to the car that they didnā€™t have to do like wash it, change radiator hose ETC. if it wasnā€™t for them we wouldnā€™t be where we are right now. HUGE thank you to to Trent brooks, Bobby Gregory, and Jacob Richmond.

Jake Shownā€™s Race on Memorial is a very special nightā€”a night dedicated to remembering and honoring all of those we have lost over the years. ā¤ļø

Jake created this race several years ago, and we are doing our very best to keep his vision and this special tradition going. The payouts may not be extravagant, but that was never what this race was supposed to be about. We know Jake would have said the exact same thing.

We apologize to all of our sponsors and fans as you wonā€™t be seeing the 44s tonight. We picked up a new motor Wednesday put it in this morning and had some problems with the motor causing it to be left behind at the shop. But you can still come out to Western KY Speedway and see the 88s and watch a great night of racing
