What a great weekend!! NYWA Youth Wrestling didn’t disappoint! 💪🏻🔥

We had 17 wrestlers compete! So proud of each and every one of you and the immense growth you have shown!! PARENTS, thank you for all you have done for your athletes from practice to tournaments and fees! WE APPRECIATE YOU! There were solid brackets all the way around. Here is how the weekend went.

More tickets punched to Minnesota/USA Wrestling state tournament next weekend along with some NYWA Youth Wrestling districts thrown in the mix. So proud of these kids and watching their goals come true!!

Ladies and gentlemen, the wrestling postseason has arrived. With only a few local tournaments left, we will begin working to help as many as we can get to the state tournaments. Can’t wait to see what the next few weeks bring!!

We had a few kids at the Waseca youth tournament on Saturday, along with a few at Waconia for a MN/USA regional on Sunday. ( as always if I missed adding anyone please let me know)

What a fun weekend!! We are getting to that point of the year where tournaments become more and more competitive. 💪🏻🔥

Nash Jirlie went to Kansas this weekend and wrestled at the tournament called battle of the belt with the Untouchables team where they placed second. Nash then went after an individual title the next day. Nash finished second in the individual tournament.

***Hall of Fame***
Geremy Thompson completed a clean sweep this season in the Midwest Wrestling Tour. Thompson went to all four national tournaments (Mn,IA,WI.Mn) and finished 1st in each one. Thompson earned a tour belt and Hall of Fame plaque. Congratulations to you sir. Owatonna Wrestling So proud of you dude!
