This year, I remain “Covid cautious”, teaching exclusively to families fully vaccinated against Covid-19, AND their children under 5 who cannot yet be vaccinated.

Are you wishing your family could qualify for Dr Zoe’s “covid cautious” swim lessons, but you have kiddos currently in daycare or in-person schooling (e.g. summer school)??

There’s hope on the horizon!!!
[AKA vaccines for kids under 12yo coming soon!]

Pfizer is currently working on defining the best dosage regiment for COVID-19 vaccines for age categories 5-12yo, 2-5yo, and 6mth-2yo.

All going to plan, the predicted times that these studies will be complete are:
* 5-12yo - September 2021,
* 2-5yo - September/October 2021,
* 6mth-2yo - October/November 2021.

Once your child is fully vaccinated against COVID-19, they will be eligible for Dr Zoe’s swim lessons - *regardless* of whether they participate in daycare or in-person schooling!!!

Dr Zoe teaches year round, so start thinking about your Fall/Winter successes in the pool!

The US Food and Drug Administration has expanded the emergency use authorization for Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine to include kids ages 12 to 15.

Good news!

Now that vaccinations are steadily rolling out in Mississippi, and I am fully vaccinated myself, I have decided to return to swim teaching - **very cautiously**!

For now, I will be catering exclusively to families that social distance, wear masks and “stay home”. Specifically, I will only be teaching toddlers and babies of SAHMs who do not participate in group daycare, school age children that undertake virtual/homeschooling, and adults who have been fully vaccinated.

Classes will be restricted to every 2nd Friday, BEGINNING APRIL 9TH, thus allowing for a built in 14-day “quarantine period” between lessons. This will further reduce any potential for inadvertent transmission.

These measures err on the side of extreme caution and are designed to provide safety and reassurance for all my clients, as well as for my own family. (I am also a SAHM, with a 2yo and a 3mth old!)

Please let me know if you are a “stay home” family and want to resume lessons!!
