Meet Mitzi!
Before Verve, what were you struggling with or looking for?
Before Verve, I struggled with making myself a priority. I had belonged to several gyms over the years, but I always felt self-conscious and unsure of what I should be doing. I knew I was losing strength and agility as I got older, and I wanted to feel stronger and healthier, but I never found a place where I felt confident enough to stick with it.
What has changed the most since starting at Verve?
The biggest change has been my confidence and strength. It didn't happen overnight. It happened because I showed up for workouts even when I didn't feel like going. Since joining Verve, I’ve learned that I can do hard things. At 56 years old, I am stronger than I have ever been in my adult life. I feel more capable, more energetic, and more confident in myself both inside and outside the gym.
What would you tell someone who is hesitant or nervous to start?
I would tell anyone who is hesitant about trying Verve, stop waiting. A stronger, healthier, and more confident version of yourself is possible. Verve is unlike any gym I’ve ever experienced. The coaches know every member, teach proper form, and encourage you to push past your insecurities. The community is incredibly supportive, and you never feel like you’re doing it alone. If you’re hesitant to start, just take that first step, you’ll be amazed at what you’re capable of achieving.
