You are invited to join us on this very special trip to enjoy the Mexico Sardine Run.
We know what you're thinking: "Mexico Sardine Run?? Huh?? What? Isn’t the sardine run an incredible phenomenon and experience off the west coast of Africa?" Well, yes, it is. However, in Mexico, they have their own unique sardine run that’s equally spectacular. Ready to dive into the details and discover the captivating world of the Mexico Sardine Run?
December 4-10, 2026
Spend 6 nights aboard a 116 foot yacht that accommodates 12 guests in 6 large suites. You'll enjoy amazing food, spectacular service, breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, and unforgettable wildlife experiences. We were in the water with 4 different types of whales everyday, among other amazing creatures during our last trip. Oh, and the blue striped marlins are stunning! You won't believe it! We still can't!
This adventure starts with a Cabo departure, sailing 15 hours up the coast of Baja on a luxury liveaboard to Magdalena Bay where the action is. Imagine being in the water with giant swirling schools of Pacific sardine in the cobalt blue waters off Magdalena Bay. You’ll be surrounded by everything from giant Bryde's whales right in front of you gulping their way through thousands of sardine, to striped marlin flashing by at 50 km/h, California sea lions, sharks, dolphins, wahoo, pelagic seabirds, and much more. You will always be close to the action and the expertise of local panga captains (ex-fishermen who know the area like the back of their hands). I swear these men are whisperers of the ocean.
