We are proud of Roots athletes Mason Naseem and Abram Ricklefs for standing before the Liberty Public Schools Board of Education and advocating for boys volleyball in their district.

It takes courage to use your voice and stand up for an opportunity that could impact others. They were also surrounded by Roots athletes and families who showed up to support them.

Regardless of the outcome, Mason and Abram stepped forward, made their voices heard, and helped grow the game.

Mason and Abram, continue to lead the way!

The George Brett 4v4 Volleyball Showdown returns to Kansas City on October 3!

Come watch 24 professional athletes, including 11 Olympians, compete at Shawnee Mission Beach Volleyball. Roots coaches will also take the court as members of the Men’s team representing Kansas City!
