❤️ Not every 5K is about the race. Sometimes it’s about the people cheering you on.

When Matt set out to complete a 5K, it wasn’t about a medal or a personal record. It was about fulfilling a dream he hoped to share with his mom.

After months of training with FDF trainer Julie, Matt was preparing to run his first 5K in years. Before he had the chance to complete it, his mother passed away.

But that didn’t stop him.

Julie helped turn Matt’s accomplishment into a special day, organizing a post-run celebration with food, friends, and family. What started as a run became a meaningful gathering centered around community, support, and perseverance.

And what a support team he had.

Matt is one of nine siblings, and his family showed up in full force with signs, cheers, and encouragement. Former FDF trainer Tyler—who previously worked with Matt—was also an important part of the day. Tyler helped plan the route and ran alongside Matt, while Julie helped bring everyone together to celebrate.

Matt has been part of the Front Door Fitness family for more than 20 years, training with Julie and others along the way. Stories like this remind us that fitness is about so much more than exercise. It’s about pursuing meaningful goals, overcoming challenges, and having people in your corner when it matters most.

Congratulations, Matt, on completing your 5K. We’re sure your mom would’ve been proud. ❤️

CLIENT SPOTLIGHT: Terry Culver ⭐️

Five years ago, Terry slipped on black ice and suffered an injury that led to three surgeries and extensive therapy. After returning from a vacation, his wife encouraged him to do something for himself and look into working with a personal trainer. She found Front Door Fitness, and they signed up right away.

Fourteen months later, Terry is stronger than ever.

His goal was to gain strength, and he’s done exactly that—adding 10 pounds of muscle along the way.

Terry trains with Cameron and says every workout brings something new. He appreciates Cameron’s ability to recognize what needs attention and create workouts that are tailored specifically to him.

When asked about his experience, Terry puts it simply:

“It’s worth every penny we’ve spent.”

We’re incredibly proud of Terry’s dedication and consistency over the past 14 months. And a big shoutout to Cameron for the knowledge, encouragement, and personalized coaching that have helped Terry reach his goals.
