The Basic 4 PWR!Moves are designed to each target a skill known to deteriorate in people with Parkinson disease, which often lead to loss of mobility and function. The PWR!Moves can be practiced in multiple positions, made progressively more physically and cognitively challenging, and be used differently to target each person’s unique symptoms individually. PWR!Moves help you mitigate symptoms and rebuild functionality, no matter how you incorporate them into your life. They're beneficial in stand-alone group exercise classes, integrated into your daily activities and routines (such as activities of daily living, recreation, sports, and hobbies), in physical and exercise therapy settings. At Rock Steady Boxing Johnson County, members are surrounded by coaches and fellow participants who understand the importance of showing up and staying active.

You’ll find encouragement here.
You’ll find challenge here.

At JQ’s BFit2 and Rock Steady Boxing Johnson County, we offer more than just one way to train.

We provide:

Adaptive Personal Training
Inclusive Boxing Coaching
Rock Steady Boxing Classes for people with Parkinson’s

Because no two people need the exact same approach.

Some people do best with one-on-one personal training and more individual attention.
Some want to learn and improve through boxing-based coaching.
And for those living with Parkinson’s, our Rock Steady Boxing program provides purposeful training designed to help improve strength, balance, coordination, movement, and confidence.

Everything we do is built with intention.
This is not random exercise.
This is movement with meaning.

Our goal is to help people keep moving, keep improving, and keep fighting back with the right support behind them.

If you or a loved one would benefit from personal training or Parkinson’s-focused boxing fitness, message us to learn more.

Parkinson’s-specific exercise matters.

Not every gym understands Parkinson’s.
Not every class is designed with Parkinson’s in mind.
Not every trainer knows how to create the right kind of challenge.

That’s why people choose Rock Steady Boxing Johnson County.

We provide a program built specifically for people living with Parkinson’s — with purposeful training, supportive coaching, and a welcoming environment.

Choose a program that understands the mission.

 Plus:
 ✅ Dogs - we have dogs ;-)

This can be a great option for family members who are visiting, students home for the summer, or anyone who wants to stay active without committing to something long-term.

JQ’s BFit2 Gym is open 24 hours a day, giving members the flexibility to train early morning, late night, weekends, or whenever it fits around a busy summer schedule.

Come for the workout. Stay for the people.

One of the most powerful parts of our program is the community.

At Rock Steady Boxing Johnson County, you’ll be around people who understand what it means to keep showing up, keep working, and keep fighting.

That kind of support matters.

Exercise is important.
Community is important too.

Here, you get both.

05/13/2026

Parkinson’s can affect movement. That’s why movement matters even more.

At Rock Steady Boxing Johnson County, we focus on exercises that challenge:

footwork
coordination
posture
reaction
strength
endurance
focus

Everything we do is aimed at helping people stay active, capable, and engaged.

This is about doing something positive, practical, and empowering.

Fight back with movement.

No boxing experience needed.

This is one of the biggest misconceptions people have when they hear the name Rock Steady Boxing.

You do not need to know how to box.
You do not need to be athletic.
You do not need to feel “ready.”

Our classes are designed for people with Parkinson’s and led in a way that helps participants work at the right level for them.

The important thing is showing up and getting started.

We’ll help with the rest.
