The Warriors' recent success includes winning the 2018 National Championship and finishing Runner-Up in 2019. The Warriors won back-to-back Division I National titles in 2011 and '12, to go along with the NJCAA DII national crown they won in 2000. Warriors have now been in the top six at the national tourney for 17 out of the last 18 seasons. The Warriors have also won 6 consecutive NJCAA District
Title, the last coming in 2019. Did not play in 2020 due to covid. In addition to its team success, Indian Hills has also had four golfers win the individual national championship title. IHCC has had 42 NJCAA All–Americans and a along with dozens of GCAA Ping All–Americans. The Warriors' schedule includes both fall and spring tournaments with the early tourneys in the spring played in warm weather venues south of Iowa. The golf team uses the Ottumwa Country Club, Cedar Creek Municipal Course and The Preserve on Rathbun lake for practice and home meets. Coaching History:
John Mulholland has been IHCC’s head coach since 2018 and has captured 9 tournament titles, coached multiple individual winners and has had both NJCAA and GCAA All-Americans in both season since taking over from Nathan Weant. Prior to Nathan departing to Texas Tech as assistant coach, Rob Murray (now Kansas State Assistant) was in charge of the Warriors when Hagan moved on to Arkansas State. Mike Hagan had been the head golf coach at IHCC along with Rob Murray as his assistant. Hagan was named the national Coach of the Year in 2011, 12, 15 and coached a team of USA all-stars that traveled to South Africa in 2008 and was a co–coach of a U.S. squad that played in the World University Championships in the Czech Republic in 2012. Brad Strake set the ground work for the Warriors before taking the Head Coaching role at North Texas, NCAA D1.
