Indian Hills Golf Indian Hills Golf Team: Go Warriors! The Indian Hills golf program has been amazing for its consistency – 42 straight trips to the NJCAA National Tournament.

The Warriors' recent success includes winning the 2018 National Championship and finishing Runner-Up in 2019. The Warriors won back-to-back Division I National titles in 2011 and '12, to go along with the NJCAA DII national crown they won in 2000. Warriors have now been in the top six at the national tourney for 17 out of the last 18 seasons. The Warriors have also won 6 consecutive NJCAA District

Title, the last coming in 2019. Did not play in 2020 due to covid. In addition to its team success, Indian Hills has also had four golfers win the individual national championship title. IHCC has had 42 NJCAA All–Americans and a along with dozens of GCAA Ping All–Americans. The Warriors' schedule includes both fall and spring tournaments with the early tourneys in the spring played in warm weather venues south of Iowa. The golf team uses the Ottumwa Country Club, Cedar Creek Municipal Course and The Preserve on Rathbun lake for practice and home meets. Coaching History:
John Mulholland has been IHCC’s head coach since 2018 and has captured 9 tournament titles, coached multiple individual winners and has had both NJCAA and GCAA All-Americans in both season since taking over from Nathan Weant. Prior to Nathan departing to Texas Tech as assistant coach, Rob Murray (now Kansas State Assistant) was in charge of the Warriors when Hagan moved on to Arkansas State. Mike Hagan had been the head golf coach at IHCC along with Rob Murray as his assistant. Hagan was named the national Coach of the Year in 2011, 12, 15 and coached a team of USA all-stars that traveled to South Africa in 2008 and was a co–coach of a U.S. squad that played in the World University Championships in the Czech Republic in 2012. Brad Strake set the ground work for the Warriors before taking the Head Coaching role at North Texas, NCAA D1.

Warriors always Finish Strong!

STRONG FINISH – NJCAA No. 7-rated Indian Hills Golf recorded the lowest team score of the entire field on day three of the Grover Page Classic, which allowed the Warriors to jump from eleventh to seventh place in the final standings at Jackson Country Club in Jackson, Tennessee. Sophomore Ryan Thomas carded the lowest round for the Warriors over the 54-hole event with a 3-under 69 today, placing the Australian in 21st place in the individual standings with a 2-over 218-stroke finish. IHCC will wrap up the fall portion of its schedule at the National Championship Preview at Odessa Country Club in Odessa, Texas, November 3-5. ⛳

HILLS HARDWARE - Indian Hills Golf cruised to an 18-stroke victory at the Missouri Valley College Fall Invitational in Marshall, Missouri, and picked up six of the top ten individual finishes, including Damian Osner's second medalist effort this fall. The Warriors have captured two team titles and a runner-up finish in three outings thus far this season. IHCC will be back in action on Monday, Oct. 4 in Jackson, Tennessee as they take part in the Grover Page Classic hosted by the University of Tennessee-Martin. ⛳

WARRIORS LEAD! They are at the halfway point at the season opening Blue River Classic in Nebraska, and your No. 5-rated Warriors lead the pack with a 12-under par, five-stroke lead on the field heading into Thursday's final round. Freshman Damian Osner is in a tie for first place individually, while sophomores Thomas Choi and Cole Davis are one stroke back in a tie for fourth.

TEE OFF! The 2021-22 edition of Indian Hills Golf gets underway today in Lincoln, Nebraska as the No. 5-rated Warriors take part in the Blue River Classic, hosted by Concordia and Doane Universities. The two-day, 36-hole event will begin today at Highland Golf Course in Lincoln, and will wrap up tomorrow at Eagle, Nebraska’s Woodland Hills Golf Course. Tee time this morning is 10 a.m. CDT.
