The registration deadline for Fall Ball 2026 is THIS COMING SUNDAY, AUGUST 9!

Last year, we reached our maximum capacity of approximately 120 teams. Once we hit capacity this year, registration will close and we will have to turn additional teams away—so don’t wait until the last minute!

⚾️ MEET OUR NEW PITCHING COACH — SKYLER SNEED ⚾️

We’re excited to welcome Skyler Sneed to The Barn! Skyler will be available for baseball pitching lessons on Fridays and Saturdays.

Born and raised in Cedar Rapids, baseball has been part of Skyler’s life for as long as he can remember. He began taking pitching lessons at age 10, helping him find success at Jefferson High School before continuing his career as a pitcher at Mount Mercy University. Skyler graduated from Mount Mercy in 2023 with a degree in finance.

Following graduation, Skyler remained involved in the game by coaching travel baseball and returning to his roots to help younger athletes at Jefferson High School. He also continues to compete in local men’s leagues around Cedar Rapids, allowing him to keep sharpening his own skills and knowledge of the game.

Skyler is excited to bring his pitching experience to The Barn and help young athletes improve their mechanics, confidence, and overall performance on the mound!

⚾️🥎 10 YEARS OF FALL BALL AT THE BARN! 🍁

We dug up this old flyer from our 2016 Fall Ball season, and it shows exactly what this event has always been about.

Ten years ago, teams paid $350 for five weekends of doubleheaders. Today, we’ve only eliminated one weekend and increased the cost by just $150 per team over an entire decade. Can these other tournaments say the same....?🤔

From the beginning, we’ve said our goal is to give kids an affordable opportunity to play more baseball and softball before the snow flies—and this flyer is proof that we’ve stayed true to that mission!

A huge shoutout and thank you to Lacey Fields in Oskaloosa for hosting us for so many years. We couldn’t continue putting on Fall Ball without their facilities and support.

Here’s to 10 years of affordable fall baseball and softball—and many more to come! 🍁⚾️🥎

⚾️🥎 MEET OUR NEW HITTING & CATCHING COACH! 🥎⚾️

Seth Greenland

We’re excited to welcome a new coach to The Barn who will be offering individual hitting and catching lessons during the week!

He has been heavily involved in youth sports for years while coaching and supporting his own kids. He also attended the University of Northern Iowa, where he focused on physical education and coaching.

If you’ve participated in our Winter Hitting Leagues over the past few years, there’s a good chance you already know him! He has been at The Barn nearly every weekend, working with players and helping coach throughout the leagues.

His combination of education, coaching experience, and years of hands-on involvement with young athletes makes him a great addition to our coaching staff.
