Last Thursday we presented a check to our August charity of the month Heart Warriors & a Village. Alisha Goedde and her heart warrior daughter Hazel, along with her little brother were there to accept the check.
Alisha shared some information with us about what their group does. They host an event each August “Putt Around Kalida” to help raise awareness about congenital heart conditions. The funds they raise help send kids to heart camps, help fund research and provide support for families who’ve lost their heart warriors. Thank you Alisha for the great work you do.

This Thursday 7:00 pm!! A half hour earlier. Please note. This week we will present the charity of September Su***de Awareness 5K Run/Walk a check. Their event is Sunday Sept. 13th at the Putnam County Fairgrounds, 2 pm. This Friday is the 4 miler at Pioneer Days in Kalida. Big Race weekend. Start it out Thursday at 7:00 pm for OGRC at the Car-E-It. We'd love to see you.

This Thursday is our last Thursday for a 7:30 pm time. Next week after Labor Day it goes to 7:00 pm. So see you Thursday at 7:30. We'll present a check to Heart Warriors and a Village for our August charity. See you then. Stay hydrated.

Last night our Sponsor Spotlight was on Blanchard Valley Health System. Dr. Church from their Ottawa office was with us to share about the services they provide and the people they serve. Thank you Blanchard Valley Health System for being a long time sponsor and for the wonderful door prize.
