5 for 5 is on, this is great for wrestling in my opinion. No real changes to what was last discussed, seniors who used their last year like Haines and Mendez won’t get a 5th year, but all of the true freshman for example will get four more tournaments.

Did they ever mention what the ailment was for Spencer Lee/if he was okay after? Looked fairly significant and those head injuries are no joke, does he have a history with concussions?

Certainly hope he’s healthy, along with Trent Hidlay and Levi Haines has to be our best shot of a world gold

Blaze converts on a late takedown and gut after being put on the shot clock late and wins the match and therefore the series by a 5-2 score.

Dake may have figured something out at the end of match one and found a lot of success getting to the body to force a match 3 to see who our world team rep will be at 86kg.

Our depth in the U.S. is insane, Zahid is a returning world champ and didn’t even give up a point at that tournament and now he faces a match 3.

Jax Forrest is an alien lol, crazy flexible. He takes match two over Marcus Blaze and we will head to a match 3 with the series all tied up 1-1!

What just happened lol. A late takedown plus a caution+1 gives Stephen Buchanan the late 5-5 lead on criteria and he hands on to hand Kyle Snyder his first domestic loss since 2016! The second Olympic champ he has beaten including Yazdani earlier this year, weird call but no denying Buchanan is a gamer.

Sheesh David Carr pulls off more late match heroics, a match that had been dominated by Green he used this takedown and laces to take a 6-5 lead with under a minute to go to force a round 3.

Have to think momentum for David Carr here, but James Green has seen it all let’s see if he can shake that one off mentally heading into the deciding match.

2-0 series win for the Zain Train and he will head back to the World Championships, great to see him back wrestling!Also...
