Let them wear the sparkly leo and pretty hairbow.
Let them get excited about stickers and a piece of candy.
Let them fall in love with the sport!

At 5 and 6yrs old, gymnastics should still feel FUN!
They're learning so much more than skills right now:
✅ They're learning how to be brave.
✅ They're learning how to fall down, get back up, and try again.
✅ They're learning how to be part of a team and work together.

Skills and medals will come in time.
For now... Let them be little and just love the sport. 💞

🎉Congratulations to Elsie and Moira on getting their round off back handspring back tuck!
💪🏻Moira competed this skill last year, but has gained the confidence this summer to do it without a coach standing next to her! Victories come in different ways for each gymnast.

This summer marks IVGA's 20th Anniversary, and to celebrate, we're having a little fun with our Gymnastics Emoji Challenge! 😄

🧩 New challenge posted every weekday (Monday–Friday)
🎟️ First 20 correct responses/day earn an entry into our weekly drawing (limit 1 entry/day)
🏆 1 Winner will be drawn and announced each Saturday
📢 Winners will receive a $25 IVGA Gift Certificate (pick up at IVGA)
