Tonights meet at Mendota finished off our regular season with some wins!

Senior Maclane Rinearson earned a fall at 145 lbs against Streator.

Freshman Nolan Demink earned a fall at 126 lbs against Streator.

Freshman Kaden Englert at 120 lbs has wrestled well and shows continuous improvement while facing tough opponents.

Our next competition will be the IHSA Regional tournament on Sat Feb 8, 9:00 am, at Seneca HS.

The Cru is showing progress at the Kewanee Invite today!

Congratulations to freshman Nolan Demink (126lbs) on getting his first win on the mat! His win came by fall at 2:47. He also showed a great improvement against a former opponent.

Senior Maclane Rinearson (138lbs) picked up 2 wins; including a fall at 1:59.9, and a 10-6 decision.

NEW EVENT: Jan 27th @ Mendota w/ Streator & Somonauk
*Anyone not already certified, if you want to compeete at Regionals, you must certify this week with Brandi, then compete in (min) 1 match at Mendota*

We got some experience tonight as two fresmen took the mat for tbe first time!

Kaden Englert 0-2 Fr. 120lb lost by fall 0:30 against Plano’s Marcus Garcia, lost by fall 0:40 against Yorkville Christian’s Brook Schafer.

Nolan Demink 0-2 Fr. 126lb lost by fall 1:24 against Plano’s Cain Hernandez, lost by fall 0:58 against YC’s Isaac Bourge.

Maclane Rinearson 0-2 Sr. 138lb lost by fall 0:28 against Plano’s Norbert Gajda, lost by fall 2:54 against YC’s Ty Lombardo.
