As most of you probably already know, 2016 was the last season for Les Stunts.
What started as a seemingly impossible quest for the right teammates ended in a strong team of good friends that shared loads of unforgettable moments!
Thanks to Thunder ISR, Petra and Dennis, we got where we ended at the World Championship 2016... Which was in one word: GREAT!
We are incredible grateful to them, but also to all our friends, supporters and sponsors! We still can't believe how much you all stood behind us.
So: A big THANK YOU to all of you for your support during this period!
We certainly look back on 4 amazing years!

WE DID IT!!!
We ended the competition on a 5th place, with an average of 15.7 points! We are super glad with our score and will have a nice party (what else ;)) and some days of holiday in Chicago now!!

First place went to the Golden Nights, who did an amazing competition with their alternate! C O N G R A T Z ladies!
Second place goes to France, who unfortunatelly had a very bad last round. Their tail got injured and they stopped the jump after 30 seconds. Still a nice second place for them!
The third place went to the NFTO of the UK. WAUW! What an amazing progression and competition did these girls had! Well done ladies!
Though Canadian girls are not that pleased with the 4th place, they did also a great job!

But hé guys... this wouldn't have happen without you! Really, YOU guys! What an amazing support, what an amazing friendships, what an amazing people! THANK YOU ALL!

Off course also a VERY big thank you to ALL of the coaches we had: Wesley, Paul, Jacco, Sven: without you guys, we would never got so far! You taught us the skills and the skydive mentality that we needed (in our team)!
Dennis, the last 2 years you were there for us. You brought us to another level and made sure we got a 5th place and an average above 15!

Last, but not least: Skydive Spa, FLY-IN, Aerodyne, Vigil AAD, The Belgian nv., Spécialiste du Matelas, , , Sonic FlyWear: YOU GUYS ROCK! Thanks for all the support all those years!

Les Stunts WPC Chicago Round 8,9&10

Last day of our competition!!
First jump of the day was L M K 7. The ritme felt not that good so increasing the speed was not possible, but we still scored 24 points, with 2 points ahead on Australia (22 points).
Jump 9 (D 8 4) felt OK but no scores yet...
Now preparing for the last jump of this world championship!
We'll try to get everything out of it, but it is not an easy one: 3 13 Q.
Fingers crossed that we'll perform as good as the other jumps!

After a nice and long weather hold, we could do another round of the competition: J 5 19. With 16 points, we took one point on the Australian girls! Still on a 5th position... And we'll try to keep it this way ! :)

Element finished their VFS competition today and got a 5th (!!) place!! Congratz guys! only one more thing to say: BEER!

The CF 2-way team of Marc Calluy & Alain Dony had a day 'off', and will restart their competition tomorrow. I heard some rumors that they would go for another new belgian record, and go for 8 points tomorrow! ;-)
There videoman, Bavo Vleminckx, is also doing a great job!

HayaBusa NMP Pch did there 6th jump. They are performing great and are in a leading position in the open FS category! KEEP IT ROCKING guys!

If the weather is OK tomorrow, we might end the competition tomorrow!

End of day 2 of the World Championship 2016...
At the top of the female FS category it's a real thriller! French and US girls are both worth each other, and are showing the best of them to battle for the first place! We love this competition ;-).
BTW: following the manifest 'FS' stands for 'Free Style', not for 'Formation Skydiving'... So we are free styling this competition. And actually, that's not so wrong ;-)
So, what about our competition?
We started the day with a jump (17 B 14), which was again a good jump for us, but we were rushed and landed with a very bad feeling. Luckily we still scored 16 points on this jump. Australia also scored 16 points, but the Polish girls and the Russian girls scored 13 points, and so we took the lead with 3 more points on them.
Jump nr 5 was the slowest in the competition (10 2 20), and we got busted once (we're still figuring out why exactly), but that brought us on 11 points (12-1). Our opponents didn't do that great jumps neither. Only Australia took 1 point back on us... The Polish girls and the Russian girls had some troubles with their video and/or the jump and lost even 2 more points!
Last one was a more easy one (21 11 G)... However, we missed our exit a bit, which took us some time to arrive to the first point! The jump itself was not that bad, but time was over ;-). We scored (only) 13 points on that jump, and again our opponents scored the same points :).
Still at a 5th position... Hopefully we can keep this during the competition!
