Tot Spotlight 💜

Tot Spotlight is where we begin building dancers, and a love of dance.

Designed for ages 3–4, this ballet and tap combination class introduces our youngest dancers to strong dance foundations in a loving, positive environment where they are encouraged to learn, explore, and grow.

Through ballet and tap, dancers begin developing coordination, musicality, balance, rhythm, classroom independence, listening skills, confidence, and an understanding of how to learn in a dance classroom.

We believe even our littlest dancers are capable of learning real technique when it is taught in a way that is joyful, encouraging, and appropriate for their age.

But at Spotlight, these early classes are about more than steps. We want our dancers to feel known, cared for, capable, and proud of what they accomplish. We’re building strong foundations while creating the kind of first dance experience that makes them excited to walk through our doors each week.

Introducing: In The Spotlight! 🌟

A high-energy Jazz + Hip Hop combination class designed for dancers ages 4–6 who are ready to learn, move, and shine on stage!

Dancers will explore both jazz and hip hop while building coordination, musicality, confidence, and age-appropriate performance skills. With upbeat music and lots of personality, this class is a fun introduction to two energetic styles of dance.
In The Spotlight is a performance class and dancers will have the opportunity to take what they learn in the studio to the stage in our annual production!

🎭 Introducing Broadway Babies! 🎤✨

Does your little one love to sing, dance, and put on a show? Then Broadway Babies is the perfect place to shine!

Designed for dancers ages 4–6, this high-energy performance class combines singing, dancing, and stage performance in a fun, encouraging environment. Students will build confidence, develop musicality, and learn the fundamentals of performing while bringing songs and stories to life.

From Broadway-inspired favorites to playful choreography, every class is filled with imagination, creativity, and plenty of smiles. This class will perform in our annual production, giving dancers the opportunity to experience the excitement of performing on stage.

Performance isn't just about executing choreography—it's about making your audience feel something.

Designed for advanced dancers with a strong technical foundation, Performance Lab is a weekly class dedicated to developing the artistry, confidence, and performance quality that takes dancers from technically proficient to truly unforgettable.
This non-performance class gives dancers the opportunity to focus on the skills that elevate every routine, every audition, and every moment on stage.

Throughout the season, dancers will explore:
• Emotional connection & authentic facial expression
• Musicality and performance dynamics
• Improvisation and creative movement
• Storytelling through dance
• Partnering and connection
• Mock auditions
• Receiving and applying corrections
• Stage presence and confidence

Whether your passion is ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre, or hip hop, Performance Lab will strengthen the performance skills that enhance every style of dance.

✨ NEW CLASS • Contemporary Creation Lab ✨

For dancers who love to move, create, and express themselves, Contemporary Creation Lab is a one-of-a-kind class designed to spark imagination and artistic growth.

Instead of spending class learning choreography, dancers become the choreographers. Through guided prompts inspired by poetry, paintings, music, memories, storytelling, and collaborative partner activities, students will explore movement in new ways while developing creativity, confidence, musicality, and personal expression.

This is a non-performance class, making it the perfect opportunity for dancers to explore contemporary movement in a relaxed, creative environment. Whether your dancer hopes to join Contemporary I or II in the future or simply enjoys expressing themselves through dance, this class is a wonderful way to grow as both a dancer and an artist.
