Larsen Family Racing LFR is the home to NITRO CUT TIRES! Nitro Cuts has been around since the 2006. We can work any tire on the market to get it to its full potential.

we specialize in burris tires, but work all brands including maxxis, reapers, vegas and hoosiers. LFR is a midwest kart racing team that was started in 2004 known as Larsen Racing. Since its inception, the team started off as a kart racing team, which transitioned into a full size race car team, then back to a kart race team. For 2023 the organization has been renamed Larsen Family Racing with the

addition of Gunnar Larsen who has been added to our "future driver development program." Please keep an eye out on the page as more updates are to follow.

Hey race fans! I have had a lot of people messaging me about maxxis tires for the next series race, as well as Vegas. I have another order scheduled to arrive end of this week or possibly beginning of next week. I have some maxxis currently in stock, and plenty of Burris as well as silver and black wheels. If you are going to be needing tires, DO NOT wait til the last minute. I also offer multiple prep packages including internal prep rolling as well as exterior prepping.

Congrats to all of our Nitro Cuts family. This weekend had some very challenging situations, but was still a ton of fun. Saturdays track at K3 was a less then favorable racing surface, which made for some very challenging racing. Not to mention the level of competition for opening night. But remember, we race on clay tracks and everyone had to race on the same surface so you have to be able to adapt. We made some changes and picked up a bunch of speed. We managed to run the 2nd fastest lap in our division so thats a huge win.

Time to rest up, regroup, and get ready for next weekend.

Super fun night racing at J&M Motorsports last night. Ken and Travis managed to finish 2nd and 3rd in mediums in a fast field of drivers. Congrats to our friends in the FIFTY 5 Cartel on their win.

And yes Travis did beat Ken 🤷‍♂️

Gunnar did awesome and won Juicebox division

Now back on the road headed to K3 Speedway for some more racing today.

My phone has been going off almost daily with people asking where we re racing next. So here is our next scheduled event weather depending.

Our next race will be Friday May 29th at J&M Motorsports in Kentucky.

Then we will also be at K3 Karting the next day May 30th to race as well.

Yes I know, its crazy, but I dont care 🤣
