EastwoodAcres Horse boarding and training. Working with all breeds and disciplines Specializing in producing a positive relationship between horses and owners.

We work on areas including trailer loading, round penning, ground manners, showmanship,pleasure, equitation, and trail. We believe that excellent training requires soft cues. We are like dance partners with our horses, not slave drivers! We encourage our horses and riders to be relaxed and confident that their time together will be a fun experience, rather than work.

Love seeing students work hard for big changes in such a short amount of time. Only 2 months between these two pictures(and most of it too cold to actually ride consistently!). Mainly focusing on the leg and seat position but the resulting improvement in the horse's frame is impressive as well. Keep it up Alexis 💪

Its about time we got some pictures of William on our page! He is new to the barn this year and he is off to great start and settling in well as a sport horse with his rider Lillian. They attended their first 4-H State show this year and even brought home some blues!
