Track is slightly flooded haha. It's probably over 10 feet deep in spots. Jet ski races coming soon lol. I'm guessing around 500,000 gallons of water, maybe more.

Who's interested in having a few Sundays with mini wedge races this summer? We are going to build a track for mini wedges to come practice on for free but if there's enough interest we could do a few race events as well. Please tag anyone you know who has kids that race mini wedges so we can get some feedback on interest and how to do it. Both the racers and fans have a say in how things are done at this track. I just provide the place basically. Maybe we could get some people to donate towards trophies and stuff. I feel like there could be potential for this to be a really big and cool thing for the kids and everyone but only if there's enough interest. Please share and tag everyone with a mini wedge.

We currently have 382 followers. Let's share this page and help get the word out as many people still don't know about the track. I built the track with the desire for it to be a place for all racing enthusiasts to come and enjoy. Free to come practice on it. Free to come watch. We do take donations to help cover the costs of upgrades and having the road grader come out. I couldn't do all of it by myself so I thank everyone who has contributed with either their time, their equipment or money.

It's been a long hard winter but as the weather starts to warm up work on the track will start back up. The track has come a long way over the years and we aren't done yet. So many people have helped get it to where it is now. I have talked with some people and have several ideas and goals for this coming season.

We are going to look into having 3-4 racing events instead of just the fall bash.

Expanding the viewing area and getting the new stands fixed and fresh paint.

Ways to keep the dust down and track smoother

Adding in a mini wedge track, using part of the backstretch.

Possibly making the track a little longer if there's enough funds.

The 5th annual fall bash was a success. We are looking into plans for next year to improve the track and the entire experience for everyone. One exciting thing is that we now have stands for the spectators to sit in. I have plans to extend the viewing area. Stands need some touch ups in the spring but are in pretty good shape overall.

It's been a crazy summer and haven't posted any updates on here but the track was used for a couple of practice days during the summer for people and we are now making some improvements before a big event happening in less than two weeks. Added fresh clay in the corners and reshaped part of the backstretch. Next step is having a road grader come out and smooth everything out.
