Yesterday was a combination of ups and downs competing in the Fair Haven Chalenge with a 48 boat field. We went all in choosing not to try and play with the inside fish and roll deep, 13 miles from port before we laid down. By the end of the day we ended up 19 miles from port covering water. First 2 hrs we rotted, 3 hr only landing a few skips. The wind shifted and it went from 1 foot waves to 5-6 footers in the blink of an eye. I told the team, hold on we are going to ride the ditch and at that moment it was lights out. Team Second Chance Sportfishing put a respectable box together weighing in 94.55 lbs for a 6 fish box landing us in 7th place of a 48 boat field. Very proud of our team for trusting in me and me trusting in them putting the best program together and awesome work on the rods in rough conditions. Congrats to all who competed. Thank you to the great work by the committee for hosting a great tournament.
