Please note that the Early Bird special will conclude on April 15th. For returning players, the entry fee will increase to $150 on April 16th if a deposit has not been made. Additionally, we will begin filling open spots on April 16th, and this year's waitlist is the largest we have ever had.

Wow, what a day!!! We fought through rain, a cold north wind, mud and water but we got our 4th annual Memorial Day Calcutta in. The course sure showed her teeth today, most numbers were low but we sure had a lot of fun!! We had 3 teams tie for 3rd place, with Gaylor Poppe’s team taking 3rd place on the 4th playoff hole. The other two teams battled until the 9th playoff hole, with Tracey Smiths team stealing 4th place after 27 holes of golf. Congrats to all the winners! And thank you to the Oswego Golf Course for hosting our event. We are already looking forward to next years event.

It was a little wet yesterday, but most everyone showed up to play in our annual horse race. Congrats to the winners below. Hopefully the rain will hold off for today and it can be as beautiful as it was yesterday.

🚨🚨🚨CALCUTTA UPDATE🚨🚨🚨

Ok guys, we have decided we are going to do this 100% with a few slight changes.

SUNDAY:

Horse races on Sunday will be:

C players and D players will both tee off at 1pm. D players will go off on hole 1 and C players will start on hole 7.

B players and A players will tee off at 3pm. A players will go off Hole 1 and B players will go off Hole 7.

Social Hour will follow the conclusion of the horse races. We will draw for teams, have dinner and then auction will follow the dinner.

THIS WILL BE RAIN OR SHINE!!!

Monday we will tee off at 9am as scheduled. We may delay the start time if heavy rain at that time, but we plan to get started at 9am!!

WE WILL PLAY MONDAY RAIN OR SHINE.

The course will be wet, but the weather seems to be that most of the rain will be the early mornings and not during the day.

We will see you all tomorrow!!

Calcutta update:
We are planning to move forward, regardless of the rain. Ultimately, we will make a final decision on Saturday by noon.
Some items we will determine at that time include possible alternative starting times for the Horse Races. For example, if radar indicates there is a 3 hour window at 11, ALL groups will tee off at 11 on different holes — just to get it in!
Also, if necessary, the start time on Monday could be pushed back if radar indicates it will benefit the start of the tournament!
To recap — plan on playing the horse race Sunday (it will probably be wet, but not severe weather) AND we will eat dinner, draw for teams, and conduct the auction!!!
Expect a final update on Saturday around noon…

Here are the player rankings for the 2025 Calcutta. The tee times for the Horserace on Sunday are as follows;

D Players 10 am
C Players 11:45 am
B Players 1:30 pm
A Players 3 pm

Social hour will follow the end of the A Players horserace. We will draw for teams during Social hour, then serve dinner and auction the teams off following dinner. Live music from Derek Nally will follow dinner.

Player classifications will be released Thursday morning. You will be contacted to let you know what time your corresponding Horse Race will start. They will also be posted at the clubhouse.

If you’ve never attended or played in our Calcutta tournament, you really need to come see what it’s about, it’s about as close as Oswego is going to get to a Professional atmosphere. With the stakes as high as they are, so many people are interested in who’s going to win. Check out these pictures from the A players horse race. That’s some pressure having so many people following you on the course!!
