🏁 Brewerton Speedway: June 6. DIRTCar Big Block Modifieds, Sportsman, Mod Lites, DIRTcar 4-Cylinders, along with Wingless 600 Micros. Pits open at 4:30 p.m., grandstands at 5:30 p.m., hot laps at 6:00 p.m, and racing begins at 7 p.m. In case of weather-related announcements or postponements, be sure to follow Brewerton Speedway for updates. 🏁 Fulton Speedway: June 7. DIRTCar Modifieds, Sportsman, Hobby Stocks, and Novice Sprints along with demolition derby! 🏁 Oswego Speedway: June 6. There will be a Fast Friday session in preparation of the season opener on June 14. 🍓 Pulaski Farmers Market: June 6, 4-8 p.m. Market season begins with local goods from produce to crafts, to tasty treats. Food trucks will be on hand as well as entertainment from Mike Place. The market takes place at historic South Park on in Pulaski.
🎉 Orwell Community Group Old Home Days: June 6-8. Head to Orwell for some community fun. Visit ocgny.org/ohd for a schedule of events.
🎖 Carlton W. Barrett Day June 6, 6 p.m. Join Bill Cahill has he honors Medal of Honor recipient Carlton W. Barrett, along with other local veterans. Fulton War Memorial, 609 W. Broadway, Fulton.
🏍 Altmar Fire Department 19th Annual ATV Ride: June 7, 9 a.m. Drawings at 4 p.m. For more information, email [email protected]. Altmar Volunteer Fire Department, 15 Bridge St., Altmar.
🎨 Art with Coffee: June 7, 10 a.m. – noon. This week’s class is Neuro-tangle Design Class with instructor JoAnne Howard. Bring your own coffee or beverage to sip while painting. All materials provided and all ages are welcome (children under 12 should attend with a participating adult.) $15 fee to participate. No registration necessary. 📚 3rd Annual Book Fest at Fulton Public Library: June 7, 10 a.m – 3 p.m. The annual book fest is back and better than ever! Join us on a fun filled day with local authors, live music, games and activities, community partners and vendors, a massive used book sale, a bounce house, a food truck, and so much more. Fulton Public Library, 160 S. 1st St., Fulton.
⛵️ Try Sailing Seminar: June 7, 11 a.m. – noon. Hosted by the Oswego Yacht Club, this is a great opportunity to try sailing! Attend one of two seminars (June 7 or 21) and you will have the opportunity to go out sailing on July 12. To sign up for the seminars, email [email protected]. 🐸 Rice Creek Events: June 7, 11 a.m. The Jr. Naturalist program runs from 10-11:30 a.m. This month’s program features the Frog & Toad Fiesta. Join Mr. Tim to learn about frogs and toads, and enjoy a trail walk to look and listen for the many frogs and toads around the station! Following the Jr. Naturalist program, there will be a themed nature walk from 1-2 p.m., and like the Jr. Naturalist, this walk will feature frogs and toads. 🎳 Pins, Putts, and Pages: June 7, 2- 8 p.m. Celebrate the expansion of the Oswego Bookmobile into Fulton! This family-friendly fundraiser will support the Bookmobile. Bowling will be $10 per person (includes show rental) and mini golf is $5 per guest, $2 per child eight and under. There will be free books for kids. For questions, contact [email protected]. 🍫 Nestle Chocolate Factory Presentation: June 8, 2 p.m. The Cleveland Historical Society - Oswego County welcomes Jim Farfaglia as he discusses the history of the Nestle Chocolate Factory in Fulton.
