Friday check-in. How did your week really go?
Forget asking if you felt motivated or if you had the “perfect” week.
Ask yourself one question:
Did your routine hold up?
Motivation comes and goes. A good routine is what keeps you moving forward when life gets busy.
Here’s how I like to wrap up each week:
Take an honest look back.
Review your workouts, sleep, nutrition, stress, and energy. No guilt. No excuses. Just be honest about what happened.
Give yourself credit.
Maybe you squeezed in a workout when you were exhausted. Maybe you made one healthier choice than you would have last month. Those wins matter. Progress is built through consistent, everyday decisions.
Figure out what got in the way.
Instead of saying, “I missed Tuesday’s workout,” ask why. Was your schedule packed? Did you stay up too late? Understanding the reason helps you make a better plan next week.
Pick one commitment for next week.
Not a long list of goals. Just one habit you’ll protect no matter what. Maybe it’s three strength workouts. Maybe it’s a daily walk. Maybe it’s getting to bed 30 minutes earlier.
Small improvements, repeated week after week, lead to big results.
What was your biggest win this week, and what’s the one habit you’re focusing on next week?
