A letter from our Commodore, James Montague:

It gives me great pride to recognize the selfless and heroic acts of our very own A.R. Swan for leaping into action, piloting the dinghy, transporting two Ossining Firefighters, and working with them as a team to rescue two women who had capsized their jetski and were being taken by the tide.

His actions represent the very best of us as members of the Ossining Boat and Canoe Club and serve as a shining example of what it means to be a part of the Hudson River Boating Community.

Paddle for Our Hudson is Hudson River Sloop Clearwater's annual paddling challenge and fundraiser where paddlers compete against each other and themselves to log miles to raise awareness and funds to support Clearwater's mission to protect the Hudson River and steward the next generation
