I’m doing this a day early but here’s what’s happening at Silver Springs this coming week:

Today (Saturday) open golf all day

Sunday: course closed for tournament

Monday: open golf all day

Tuesday: open golf until noon then closed for member day

Wednesday: open golf all day

Thursday: open golf until 2pm then closed for Member day

Friday: open golf all day

Saturday: open golf all day

Sunday: open golf all day

Closing up for the day the rain won’t seem to stop. Looks like on the radar. It’s gonna rain for another four or five hours so locking up for the day.

The course will remain closed for the rest of the day. 2" of rain in a short amount of time with more still to come the course just won't be playable today. Back open tomorrow morning (Monday) at 8 am. Clubhouse is closing today as well. Stay off the course for the rest of today. Thanks.

We just got a little over an inch and a half in about 40 minutes so the course is going to be closed to see if it can dry out and be open for play later. If it rains again we are probably gonna close for the day. call ahead if you’re thinking about golfing this afternoon.

We will have 4 golf carts available to rent today. So call ahead 563-532-8904 to let me know when you’re coming and will see if any carts are available at that time.

We have a large group outing tomorrow at noon. I will need all golf carts back on the pad at noon. Depending if all show up will know by 12:30 if we have any rentals available for the rest of the day. We open at 8am and will be available for open golf until 9:30 am. After that it will be too late to get a round in before I need carts back by noon. So if you wanna come golf in the morning be here between 8 and 9:30 am. Or wait until 12:30 and give us a call to see if any carts are available. 563-532-8904

Good Sunday morning everyone. What a nice shower we got this morning. Half inch of well needed rain. Here's what's happening at Silver Springs this week:

Friday: Open golf all day. I have a large outing coming at noon taking 10 of my rental carts so please call ahead to check on cart availability this day. 563-532-8904.

HISTORY MADE!!!!!!

The South Winn girls golf team has just made school history by finishing in 3rd place at the state tournament, the highest finish ever!!!!!

The girls had an absolutely electric day 2, shooting a 353 for a two day total of 718!!!!!

Sophomore Claire Becker finished 10th overall as an individual after shooting 83-84 for a 167!!!

This group came into this tournament seeded 8th, and decided now was the time to play their best golf ever!!! We are so proud of everything these fine ladies have accomplished!!!!
