There has been some communication and we want to make sure that current information goes out.
All Commissioners, Coaches, Anglers and Parents,
It is apparent that we are in uncertain times as we move into what could be called, Phase Two of our fight against the COVID-19 Virus spread. I have been in constant communications with National BASS and have been asked to follow certain protocols when it comes to gatherings of our members. There are many ways we can still communicate with each other. Derick and I intend to keep you as informed as we can so keep an eye on the website, email, and Facebook.
Going forward I need everyone to do their very best so we can make sure the 2020 season is ready to go when we get the go ahead. With that in mind, please follow the following guidelines.
Try to hold meetings using electronic means. (Chisago City H.S. has already held two and I was part of the one held the other night.)
Until further notice, do not send in any more dues checks into me. Once this all sorts out, we will have time to get team dues into me.
All tournament signup dates and time are still in effect: April 15th-May 15th, May 18th thru May 31st. For our angler registration do the following from our Coaches only page on our site:
Conduct Phase 1: Anglers get B.A.S.S. #
Conduct Phase 3: Anglers sign up for Sportsengine and register with our site using the angler link provided. This will allow them to sign up for tournaments on dates above.
Conduct Phase 2: Get roster prepared and sent to Paul. DO NOT COLLECT and send dues at this time (it's okay if you have already). As soon as we get your teams roster form, we will get the kids registered with the BASS Nation. The Minnesota Junior BASS Nation will carry the Bass Nation registration fee ($10.00) for each student during this period.
Remember, once we get a clear schedule, teams will have to get their payments in ASAP so coaches be ready to get those checks in. Students will not be able to fish unless their dues are paid to MN Junior BASS.
I know these are trying times for all of us. I am asking that we all show the patience, respect, and concern for this situation our Governor has asked us to do and what our program expects out of it's membership. We will get through these times and I am hopeful we will have a great 2020 season.
