Today was simple: load the bar and find out who you are when it gets heavy.

I hit 405 for max reps, and the athletes stepped up right behind me.

Saturday morning, Else Strength athletes walked through the doors before the sun came up.

No crowd. No spotlight. Just work.

They lifted.
They conditioned.
They pushed through a hard session together.

After the workout, they stayed and had breakfast together.

Nothing planned. No speech. Just a group of young adults talking, laughing, and eating after putting in the work.

Moments like that remind me why this place exists.

This gym is about more than strength. It is about kids learning to show up. Learning to work when nobody is watching. Learning to push each other and have each other’s back.

Those small moments matter.

These athletes are growing into the kind of people who show up early, work hard, and take care of the people around them.

These kids are the future of our town. The future of our programs. The future of the families and teams they will one day lead. And they are learning right now what it means to show up with purpose.

That is the kind of culture worth building. One morning at a time.
