William Penn University Women's Bowling

William Penn University Women's Bowling We are currently in our 13th season of competition! A small school in south-eastern Iowa, Penn is home to around 1200 students and steadily growing.

William Penn University is currently home to over 25 different student organizations and over 25 athletic teams. William Penn Bowling is one of the most esteemed teams on campus, making USBC Sectionals every year since inception, three Conference titles, two 3rd place NAIA National finishes, and three appearances to USBC Nationals.

If you're interested in collegiate bowling, please join us for our recruitment day on June 27th!
Parents are encouraged to attend as well.
The bowling portion will be held on a junior gold pattern, so it will be a great opportunity for some practice on sport conditions!
This will be replacing our typical camp for this year. Don't worry we plan for camp to return next summer!

Day one of NAIA Nationals complete!

This group of ladies had an amazing battle today, coming up a few pins short in the seventh game of the best of seven tie breaker portion. The girls won the team game portion, then came up a few pins short in the five game baker total pinfall which set up the best of seven bakers
We are super proud of the effort today (especially with a couple girls under the weather) and excited to watch them make a run through the elimination bracket starting at 8:30am (Eastern time) tomorrow.
