early morning ride on Buddy Beck while we still had some rain cooled air. The sun was already starting to heat things up as we did our cool down walkabout. But all the horses are settled in their stalls w fans, hay and lots of water. And of course Buddy Beck has already made his most excellent hay soup!

Life on the farm exploded in color while I was gone......and a bald eagle has taken up residence behind our house! Mike has seen him daily for a week and yesterday I caught him fishing up in our pond. Let's only hope he becomes a permanent resident!
