STRONGER TOGETHER. ☕❤️

A cup of coffee can be a simple thing.

But sometimes, it represents so much more.

It represents gathering around a table. Checking on a neighbor. Sharing a conversation. Showing up when someone needs a hand.

The tornado that devastated the town where I grew up has been a powerful reminder of just how quickly life can change.

But it has also shown the incredible strength of community.

When the landscape changes, we come together.

When something is broken, we help rebuild.

When someone is hurting, we show up.

Fall reminds us that change is part of life's rhythm. The leaves release. The trees become bare. The landscape changes.

And then, in time, there is new growth.

This season, I'm holding close the wisdom of letting go, the courage to rebuild, and the reminder that we don't have to do it alone.

In the wake of the recent tornado, many of us are carrying more than what can be seen. Whether you've experienced loss, uncertainty, or are simply feeling emotionally drained, know that you are not alone.

As our community comes together to rebuild, I am extending my special on sound massage into mid August as a small way to support rest, relaxation and healing. There is no pressure - only an invitation to give you or your loved one permission to pause, breathe and receive.

May we continue to lift one another up with compassion kindness, and hope.

My husband and I are taking this time to help some friends that have to be relocated until the damage can be assessed and rebuilt. Therefore, I am not going to coordinate a larger group effort.

For those of you who have already found a way to assist those in need, we are so grateful. If you are still looking for ways to help, I encourage you to reach out to organizations such as The United Way, Red Cross and churches.

Together, we are stronger than the storm.

Prayers to all that are trying to figure out how to put their life back together after the devastating tornado. I grew up in Menasha and many of my family and friends live in the area that was hit the hardest. Right now I am waiting to find out more about what the community would like us to do before I decide the best way to move forward with assistance. I will keep you posted so you can join me in the effort if possible.

Molly and my niece work for United Way which is always a great start for information and assistance.

If your property has been damaged, please report it by calling 211.

When you complete a damage report, it helps local emergency managers and community organizations understand where the greatest needs are so they can coordinate recovery efforts.
Days like this show how many caring people are ready to step in and help. Right now, the best thing you can do is spread the word, check on friends/family/neighbors, and allow emergency crews to do their work safely. As community needs become clearer, there will surely be ways we can all work together.
