Guns N Hoses Charity Hockey Game

Saturdays totals are! Our Oshkosh Firefighter charitable trust celebrity bartenders were able to raise $905 in tips! Water City Pub will be donating 10% of all sales for the day equaling $500! And The Plastic Knives Band raised $150 in tips. Total raised going to the Oshkosh day by day warming shelter is $1505! Thank you again to Water City Pub and their staff, Our OFD personnel who donated their time, That's what she said band, the Plastic Knives Band, and to all of you who came out to support this great charity! We promise the Guns N Hoses charity hockey game will be back next spring to make this event even bigger!!

What a great event last night at Water City Pub with That's what she said band, the Plastic Knives band, Oshkosh Firefighters Charitable Trust, Our Oshkosh Firefighter celebrity bartenders, and everyone who came out to support! Special thanks to Zach Beatty, Jacob Myers, Tanner Harrington, Adam Vandalwyk, Denise Fischer and Ken Kiefer for bartending for 6 hours in a completely packed house. Guns N Hoses cancelled*****
Unfortunately a perfect storm of events, players injured, and a pub crawl scheduled for the same day leaving many of the officers working, has forced us to cancel the event. We are looking at rescheduling hopefully in october, standby for more Info!

We will still be holding a charity event to support the warming shelter with potentially two bands playing at water City pub in Oshkosh, and celebrity bartenders from the Oshkosh fire dept, all tips from the bartenders and bands donated to charity! Stand by for more info!!!

BIG NEWS!!!!!!! HUGE NEWS!!!!!!!!
As most of you know in the past we assembled a team of firefighters and police officers from the areas of Oshkosh, Neenah, Appleton, Sheboygan and fond du lac who had played competitive hockey. This meant a fast paced and exciting game!

This year the rules have changed! All skaters will be from Oshkosh fire and Oshkosh Police only!! The teams will be made up of some who have played hockey and some who have never played hockey!!

Ready for the big news?????
This year's Guns N Hoses goalies will be......wait for it.......wait for it.......ok ok....

Fire goalie will be Fire Chief Mike Stanley!!!!!
Police goalie will be Police Chief Dean Smith!!!!!
Neither of them have ever played hockey, much less goalie!!!!
Can't wait for the game!!!!

We have a correction!!!! We just went through all of the money and we raised way more than we thought!!!

Breakdown:
$5000 going to Flannel Check
$1000 going to YMCA Strong Kids Campaign
$500 going to Oshkosh Firefighters Charitable Trust

THIS WAS A HUGE YEAR!!! THANK YOU EVERYONE SO MUCH!!!

Thank you everyone so much for coming yesterday. We ending up filling the stands. We raised over $4000 yesterday with $1000 going to YMCA strong kids.

Firefighters overcame the cops 9-3. Everyone playing had a great time!

Can't wait to see you all next year!
