Twenty years behind the wheel on the dirt gives you a specific kind of wisdom that you can’t get anywhere else. Dirt track racing isn't just a sport— it’s a lifestyle, a relentless cycle of preparation, heartbreak, grit, & redemption.
When you’ve spent two decades in the pits, grease under your fingernails, breathing in the exhaust & dirt, amongst cars that will rattle your ear drums, a season marked by loss & hard work hits differently. It’s not just about the driver in the seat; it’s about everything that happens between the green flag & the long haul home.
After 20 years, you realize the sport isn't about the checkered flags you collected—you probably can't even remember half of them. It's about the character forged in the lap after the loss. It’s knowing that no matter how hard you hit the wall, as long as you can haul the car back to the trailer, you're not done.
Started in gokarts in 2006, moved up to a street stock late in 2011, & eventually graduated up to the imca stock car in 2016. Met some awesome people & some not-so awesome people. Bent up some parts, wrecked some engines, rolled twice, shed a few tears, went through countless tearoffs, wore out 4 sets of shoes, 4 helmets, 3 race suits, and hit up 19 different tracks over the years. Did it all with the support of my parents, some bad-ass sponsors, some top tier family members & friends who had my back since day one, & absolutely zero regrets. Through all of this, I also lost one of my biggest fans - my cousin, Nicole who will never be forgotten & I can only hope she is cheering me on still from above.
We ain't done yet, this is just a wrap on decade #2, with some big changes coming in 2027. 🖤🤘
