The Chinook salmon can average from 6 to 20 plus pounds with wall hangers approaching 30 lbs. Lake trout are also common in the waters near Michigan city and can get as
large as 30 lbs. we fish near the bottom or on reefs for these native fish. Steel head roam the open waters and in June and July when the Skamania come to Michigan City they test your ability to land this tackle busting fish. There is nothing else like it. But even if you're just looking for a relaxing boat ride on the lake we can do that as well. The Rodfather is a 2001 30' pursuit, fully equipped with a functional bathroom, and galley, safety equipment, life jackets, electronic sonar, radar, and all the lures and rods needed. Her home port is in Michigan City, Indiana. The Rodfather is fully inspected by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources and is licensed to carry 6 passengers and 2 crewman on board
