Coach Goodale was a 4 time Iowa High School State Wrestling Finalist and 3 time Iowa High School State Champion compiling a high school record of 159-6 while having the states longest active winning streak at the time of graduation. h school Coach Goodale was a 5 year varsity letter winner for the University of Iowa Hawkeyes, where he was a Division I National Qualifier for the Hawkeyes. After his college career Coach Goodale became the youngest NCAA Head Wrestling Coach at the age of 23, where he built the largest ever (any division) college wrestling program with over 80 athletes.
