Welcome to the OFFICIAL Sunny Brae Golf & Country Club page. We are a private course located along the Cedar River just outside of Osage, Iowa. We are celebrating our 100 year anniversary in 2017 and invite you to come for a visit, enjoy our beautiful 9-hole golf course set along the bluffs and the water of the Cedar, and consider becoming a member, if you're not already.

⛳️ Men’s Night Tonight at Sunny Brae! ⛳️

Just a reminder that all golfers under 21 must be off the course after 3 p.m. this evening.

The Osage High School golf team may also be out practicing their round after school. We sent an email to members yesterday regarding the practice round, and the team is permitted to be on the course for preparation.

Green fee players are welcome after 3 p.m. when golfing with a member.

🍔 Tonight’s clubhouse special:
Burger to grill + beans + chips + cookie for just $8

Downstairs bar will be open until 6 p.m. to help make things flow a little smoother for players checking in or grabbing beverages before their round. After 6 p.m., we’ll be fully open upstairs for the remainder of the night. Plenty of cold beverages ready to go and the weather is looking absolutely beautiful for an evening at Sunny Brae. See you at the course!

Coming up at the end of the month and we are READY for a fun day at Sunny Brae!

This tournament is more than just golf. Every dollar raised helps support:
• Our youth scholarship program
• Cart shed repairs & improvements
• Continued investment into the future of Sunny Brae

🏌️‍♂️ 2 Couple Alternate Shot
(2 men / 2 women per team)

Your registration includes:
✔ Dinner after golf
✔ Flight payouts
✔ Raffles & hole prizes
✔ Entry into a FREE membership drawing
• New member = 2026 membership
• Current member = 2027 membership

As you can tell from these pictures, getting the new bridge in across the river was no small task. There were a lot of moving parts, plenty of teamwork, and a whole lot of hard work behind the scenes to make it happen.

A huge THANK YOU to Terry, Randy, Ryan, Mark, Pat, and our grounds manager Jon for all the time and effort that went into getting the bridge in place.

We also want to give a special thank you to Travis Rawn for all the repairs and reinforcements made to the bridge this winter. It’s looking shiny and new, and we’re incredibly grateful for the work that went into bringing it back to life.

Sunny Brae is lucky to have so many people willing to step up and help make improvements to our course year after year.

Now the real question is… who’s ready to play across the river again?

⛳️ Men’s League Starts Today at Sunny Brae! ⛳️

A few quick reminders for league nights:

• Scorecards can be picked up before your match at the downstairs bar and turned in to the bartender at the end of the night.
• Green fee players must be off the course by 3 p.m.
• Members are still welcome to golf, but please keep in mind that league play will have priority on the course and casual rounds will be very limited once league begins.

We’re also trying something new this year — the downstairs bar will remain open until 6 p.m. to help make things flow a little smoother for players needing to run in quickly before or after matches. After 6 p.m., the downstairs bar will close and the upstairs bar will remain open.

Burger to grill + beans + chips + cookie — $8 available in clubhouse after your match!

This is Jason’s 4th season at Sunny Brae, and if you’ve spent any time around the clubhouse or course, you know he’s always good for a laugh and a friendly conversation!

⛳️ Groundskeeper Revenge is wrapping up!
Open golf will resume in approximately 30 minutes. Thank you to everyone for your patience today while John and the tournament crew caused a little chaos out on the course 😅

🎓 There is also a graduation party taking place upstairs at the clubhouse this evening. Please use the stairs on the west end of the clubhouse and enter through the indoor patio to access the bar area. Downstairs will be closed the remainder of the evening!
