MINDSET
So often when we set set goals or aspirations we don't look at the hardwork that is inevitable to achieve them. For instance you want to be a champion in your sport. Let's look at what it takes to get there. First, understanding your body, knowing the exercises and conditioning, the food sources for your meal plan and that is step one!
Step 2, getting in the gym, stretching, and moving the weight with proper form. Remembering to switch exercises, rep counts and type of training to prevent the Law of Accommodation to make more progression. Know how to taper, to get proper precompetition nutrition to maximize output when it counts in competition.
I Always tell people if you're competing that on top of work, you will put in 6 to 8 hours on top of workday with meal preps and workouts. Then there's failure! Not what you think it is; in the gym failure with proper rest afterwards is your friend in building endurance and strength. As Tom Platz once said, "When your mind says no more, the body can produce 5 more reps".
Competition is fun, I love competing on the platform, but you have to put in the work to get there! You Can Do It! The MIND is a control tower and just like the body, it can be conditioned to work to get your results! ALL ABOUT THE MINDSET, BELIEVE AND ACHIEVE!

It is March now, how are you doing with your fitness goals? Are you continuing with them or are you getting frustrated due to not seeing the results right away? A lot of times this happens to us, but don't get discouraged because results don't come right away. Maybe you're reaching a plateau? Maybe you're eating right for energy placement for activity? Whatever the question is, you can find the answer, I promise. Don't walk away from your fitness goals. You will find a lot of people are in same boat. Rather it be the veteran lifter, or the the beginner it hits us all in different aspects. Learn your craft, become a sponge, find knowledgeable educational outlets, learn and apply to your daily goals. Most important, DON'T GIVE UP!!!!!

Remember Rome wasn't built in a day, but it was built!

A lot of times these days you see a one size fits all workout for people. Although this is time efficient to trainers it misses out specificity. For instance you won't train a receiver as a lineman and vice versa. You find what works the specific person or position and then determine their strengths and weaknesses. I personally when I work with clients don't focus on their strengths, because they're strengths. I focus on weaknesses and develope them into their strengths, why focus on the good stuff, it's already good and that doesn't mean you stop working on what is already a strength, you goal is TOTAL STRENGTH!

Now first, you have to figure out an environment to thrive in rather gym, park, or home. Then if looking for assistance from a coach or trainer, be selective, sit and talk with with them, see their competencies and what they can offer you in fitness. Then make your decision based on their knowledge not following for a 1 size fits all. Give you a hint, what works for me in the gym, will not necessarily work for others. There are over 7 billion people in the world, that's 7 billion in individuality in workouts. I love that kind of challenge and so do other trainers!!
