Lost & Found – Heated Vest 🔥

Attention shooters:
After a long day of trap shooting, someone left behind their size large heated vest from Venustas.

It’s currently in witness protection and refuses to warm anyone else until reunited with its rightful owner.

If you’re suddenly feeling colder than usual… this might be why 😂
Claim it before it finds a new life as the clubhouse MVP.

Message Bridgett Duncan to bring this dramatic little vest back home as she has it tucked away for safe keeping!

Yesterday evening was the last chance to shoot evening indoor air gun for 2026.

Thanks to our participants and volunteers!
Participants and workers enjoyed sharpening their skills in our heated club house and socializing.

We wrapped up our final turkey shoot of the season, and what a way to end it! We ran 12 rounds for ham and squeezed in 3 money rounds, with shooters of all ages stepping up to the line. From seasoned pros to first-timers, it was a great mix of competition, laughs, and a whole lot of fun—and of course, plenty of winners along the way.

Darren and Bridgett were seen selling some of Randy’s legendary sloppy joes (seriously, those things never disappoint). Jim made his long-awaited return as judge after surviving a rough two weeks of the sniffles, and we’re pretty sure he didn’t miss a beat. Lee, as expected, provided nonstop commentary… or whining, depending on who you ask 😄. Bob and Bridgett had a friendly race of bringing the cards in to Jim, having to endure Lee telling them they were still to slow. And Tom made the trek back from the hot state of Florida just to supervise—and maybe double-check—Eddie’s cash handling skills. Some things never change!

More than anything, it was just great to see familiar faces again and welcome some new ones into the mix. Days like this remind you it’s about more than just the shooting—it’s the stories, the laughs, and the people that make it special.

Already counting down the days until we fire it back up again this fall. Until then, thanks to everyone who came out and made this season one to remember! Also shout out to everyone that has helped make this even possible.

🌞 Sunday Funday at the Orwell Gun Club! 🎯

Trap shooting kicks off at 11:30 AM — so show up, grab your spot, and let’s see if you can actually back up all that big talk 😏

Then the LAST turkey shoot of the day starts at 1:00 PM SHARP… not a minute later. And don’t get too comfortable — if enough early birds show up ready to roll, we might just start a little early 🦃

Now let’s make it interesting…
👉 Winners of the turkey shoot are walking away with some GREAT ham!
👉 We’ve got a 50/50 raffle — test your luck 💰
👉 And a door prize, because even if your aim’s off… you might still go home a winner 😂

And if you just wanna hang out, enjoy the weather, and watch your buddies miss easy shots… we’ve got plenty of that too 😆

Expect friendly competition, a little trash talk, and a whole lot of bragging rights on the line. Somebody’s leaving feeling like a champ… and somebody else is getting roasted all week.

Bring your A-game — or at least bring a good excuse 😄

Concluded today’s turkey shoot with 14 meat shoots and 4 money shoots! 🎯

Lots of fun, plenty of banter, and a great crowd all around. Huge shoutout to Randy, who absolutely crushed it in the kitchen and sold completely out of meat! 🔥

Thanks to everyone who came out and made it another great day.
