It was a great day for some of our Big Stone County 4-H youth at the Minnesota 4-H Wildlife Habitat Education competition in Watson! Congratulations to our senior team members Brooke, Brooklynn, Justice and Shyenne who will compete at the National competition in North Myrtle Beach , South Carolina July 26-29!
The Intermediate team of Brayden, Derek, Liam and Preston placed first. Top individuals were first place- Derek, second place Brayden,third place- Preston

The junior team of Bryleigh, Coltyn and Kylyn placed first.
The junior team of Avery, Colby and Jace placed second.
Top juniors were: Kylyn -first, Jace-2nd, Avery-3rd

Coach of the teams is Nikki Twedt

Come out Saturday to the Spring Show at Ortonville School! The Sportsman’s Club will be serving pancakes and sausage from 9 am-11am.
Funds raised are for the Big Stone County 4-H Shooting Sports program and Ortonville Trap Team.

Thr 4-H Food Stand will be from 11am-5pm. Serving hotdogs, bbqs, chips, water , pop, bake sale items. Proceeds go to the Big Stone County 4-H Shooting Sports program!

The Sportsmens Club is selling raffle tickets to raise funds for the Ortonville Trap Team and 4-H Shooting Sports. Prizes are 2 $500 Scheels gift cards, 4 $250 Scheels gift cards and 10 $100 Scheels gift cards. Drawing will be held February 28 at the Sportsman’s Bingo at the Sioux Historic. Tickets are $20 each. Selling only 1000. Connect with a youth or board member to purchase!
