RED TIME

Week 4: Thanks for coming out for another week of learning! We had a few new faces today, and everyone came ready to participate.

During our lesson time, Miss Joanna taught us the importance of obeying God’s voice, and that he cares about what’s INside the heart more than what’s on the OUTside.

This month’s memory verse is Psalm 119:105 “Your Word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.

Week 3: what a great group we had today! 21 kids came out to have fun and hear from God’s Word this morning.

This week Mrs. Debbie introduced the Bible verse memory program. Clip your cards to your backpack and say your verse every week for a sticker and a piece of candy!

Our verse for the month is Psalm 119:105 “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”

The lesson today included a speedy overview of Old Testament characters who were encouraged to follow God despite obstacles, and we reinforced it with relay races to spur each other on!

Week 2 of RED Time was a blast!

During free time, kids grouped together to play volleyball, basketball, and football.

At lesson time, Miss Julie taught about the 6 days of Creation and what happened when humans disobeyed the Creator King.

We reinforced the lesson with a review game to practice the order of Creation, and a fun rousing game of “The King Says…”!

Thank you so much for a wonderful year of RED Time! We celebrated the end of the year with cupcakes and a graduation for the fourth graders, followed by several of our favorite group games.

Each child went home today with a Bible storybook or Bible, their verse memory chart, and a certificate of completion.

Many thanks also to Pastor Mark, Steve and Debbie Steiner, and Mr. Justin for their organizational efforts in making RED time happen this year. 2nd and 3rd graders, we hope to see you next year!

We had a great turnout at Red Time today! During the lesson we learned the first half of the story of Queen Esther, and we discussed what it means to obey God even if we’re scared. You’ll want to come back next week to hear the rest of the story!

Our verse this month is Ephesians 4:32 “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

Just a reminder that our next class is Tuesday !

Students can be dropped off at the Orrville Boys and Girls Club starting at 7:45am. Our objective at REDTIME is to allow the children of Orrville to grow in their understanding of a God that loves them and cares for them deeply. To do this, we believe in providing 3rd and 4th graders the platform to learn the Bible in an environment with their peers. Each gathering is led by qualified educators that have been vetted by a thorough qualification process to ensure that each child is cared for well. To enroll your student or give a donation please visit

RED Time was created to offer our community the opportunity to develop an understanding of the Christian faith by teaching children the Biblical principles that they are loved and cared for by a gracious God.
