What a way to finish the Showdown!! P5! 🏁🔥

Big shoutout to EVERYONE who helped us get here and supported us along the way!! This kid drove his ass off all week and came away with some damn good results! Couldn’t be more proud of him!!!

Well… race day definitely threw us a curveball.

Qualified 16th out of 23. We were putting together a solid lap, but caught the kart in front of us and had to lift, which killed the lap. It is what it is.

Heat 1: Started 4th and had a really good kart. Battled for the lead I shoulda used the top side it was fast but every time I dropped to the bottom it pushed me right up into the wall. Should’ve listened to Dad… haha!!!! Ended up 4th.

Main Event: Started 16th… our deepest starting spot of the year. We were making good progress until a wreck broke out right in front of us. Had nowhere to go and absolutely destroyed the front end. Bent the wing twisted a spindle/knuckle and the kart is pretty much junked.

During the open red we bent the wing back out, looked everything over and said (Screw it… run it kid)!!!! What else can we break now?

He drove the wheels off that thing and fought all the way back to an awesome 7th place finish. Couldn’t be more proud of the effort and never-give-up attitude!

Huge congratulations to our family and friends at Garrow Racing ! Their kid absolutely put on a show and brought home the QRC Cup Championship. Well deserved!

Today’s the day!! 🤘🏁

Rolling out for qualifying in about 20 minutes! The motor is on point, the kart is dialed in… now let’s see if the driver shows up! 😂

Last night we brought home a P8 in the main, and we’ll take that. Not a bad way to start the weekend. Time to build on it and see what we can do today.

Race weekend update!

Well… qualifying sucked, but that’s racing. Heat 1 was decent, started P4 finish P3 we were still trying to figure the track out. Started 12th in the main and worked our way all the way up to 5th. Had a good battle with 5th and 6th, then got loose and spun on the last lap. Bummer racing’s racing. Get over it on to the next. The track was heavy all night, but overall it was a great night and we learned a lot.🏎️🏁

Now it’s time to get the race car back in the garage and get everything prepped for this weekend.

Race #9 at Cycleland kicked off on a rough note for us. We qualified 15th out of 21 drivers, which was a disappointing start.

In Heat 1, we began 5th and finished 4th. This put us deep in the field for the A-main. Despite this, we started 13th and managed to battle our way up to 6th for the finish.
It was a great night of racing. We are now on a break, tell after the 4th of July, we will be going camping on the coast of Oregon for some dune riding.
