Come out and support Las Plumas Football at our Meet the Birds Dinner!

Our football players will be helping make the night happen by providing sides, drinks, desserts, and table service!

Toward the end of dinner, we’ll auction off desserts — highest bidder takes it home! So bring your pocketbooks and be ready to battle for your favorite dessert!

This is a chance to enjoy a great meal, meet and support the young men in our football program, and help support Las Plumas Football.

Another week and another opportunity to recognize the incredible people and businesses in our community who continue to step up for our kids!

TEAM LUNCH #2! 🏈⚡️

A huge thank you and shoutout to Joel and everyone at Relentless Barbell for taking care of our boys and providing our second team lunch of the season!

What makes this one special is that our relationship with Relentless goes far beyond a single lunch or donation. Joel has continued to show up for Las Plumas Football and support what we are trying to build with our young men. Whether it is through training, encouragement, giving his time, supporting our players, or stepping up when our program needs something, Joel has been in our corner.

Those relationships mean a lot to us.

We want our players to understand that a football program isn’t built by just the people wearing the jerseys. It takes coaches, families, businesses, alumni, and people throughout our community who believe in these kids and are willing to invest in them. Joel and Relentless Barbell have become a part of that family.

Joel, we appreciate the way you continue to support our players and believe in what we are building at Las Plumas. Our guys definitely enjoyed the food, but more importantly, we hope they recognize the people in this community who continue to show up for them.

Huge shoutout to all of our Varsity parents who showed up last night and helped make our first team dinner of the season a great one!

The food was great, the drinks were cold, and most importantly, we had a team full of young men leave with full bellies!

I’ve said this before on a lot of our posts, but there are so many moving parts that go into making this football program run, and our parents are a HUGE piece of what we do. The time, effort, support, and love you guys continue to give to our players and this program does not go unnoticed. We truly couldn’t make all of this happen without you!

Thank you to everyone who helped cook, serve, set up, clean up, bring food, or just showed up to lend a hand. It takes all of us, and nights like this are another reminder of what makes this program and this football family so special.

Thank you for making our Week 1 Team Dinner such a great night! Now it’s GAME DAY! ❤️🏈⚡

There are a lot of things that go into building a football program that people never see on Friday nights. It’s more than practices, games, wins, and losses. It’s about creating experiences for our young men, building relationships, developing a sense of family, and showing our players that there is an entire community standing behind them.

Today we had our first team lunch of the 2026 season, and we want to give a HUGE thank you to Alpine Portable Toilets & Fencing Services for stepping up as our first lunch donor of the year!

Having a local business willing to invest in our players means more to us than simply providing a meal. When members of our community support Las Plumas Football, our players see firsthand that people outside of our locker room believe in them, care about them, and want to see them succeed.

These team lunches give our guys an opportunity to get away from the field for a little while, sit together, laugh together, eat together, and continue building the relationships and brotherhood that we believe are so important to our program.

To everyone at Alpine Portable Toilets & Fencing Services: THANK YOU. Thank you for believing in what we are building. Thank you for supporting our players. Thank you for being willing to give back to young men in our community. And thank you for kicking off this tradition with us as our first donor of the season.

We are incredibly fortunate to have businesses in our community that are willing to step up and support our kids. When local businesses support our program, we want to make sure our Thunderbird family supports them right back.

Unfortunately, the school’s point-of-sale system is temporarily down. To make entry as easy as possible, you will have two payment options…

Cash — Accepted at the gate

We’re looking for a few more Varsity parents who would like to be involved with our team dinners this season. These dinners are a big part of what we’re trying to build within our program, and the support from our families makes them possible.

Helping with team dinners is a great way to support our players, but it’s also an opportunity to spend some time around the team, get to know these young men, and see firsthand the positive things we’re working to build within Las Plumas Football.
