MEET THE BOARD — 2026 ⚾️
•Chair: Seth Melton
Seth is an avid family man & baseball enthusiast. He loves what the game teaches kids both on & off the field. He has coached in the rookies league for the past 4 years & served as the board chair in 2023-2025. Seth believes that community involvement is essential for a successful program & has made it a goal to improve the relationship between the youth baseball program & the community of Orofino. Here soon, you’ll catch Seth at the baseball fields during any & all of his free time, cleaning & prepping field maintenance for the 2026 season.⚾️
•Secretary/Vice-Chair: Madison Melton
Madison works to provide an exciting, structured, well organized program for all coaches, parents & players to enjoy. She served secretary & the vice chair the past two seasons & contributed in 2023 as a volunteer for the baseball program. Madison believes in providing kids with opportunities to feel success & develop work ethic. Year round, she is helping to sculpt young minds through academics & athletics. Madison has taught middle school & high school science at Orofino for five years & leads the Maniac Leadership group to positively impact the Maniac Nation. She plays the role of teacher, t-ball coach, wife & momma to four young kids: Coy (8), Jeffrey (6), Ava & Parker (twins 4).⚾️
•Treasurer: Hannah Arient
Hannah has a true passion for helping kids be successful. She served on the OYB board as the operations manager in 2024 & as treasurer in 2025. She has two boys (8 & 11) who play baseball, so she knows how important it is to create a positive experience for players & families. Her favorite part of baseball is the sense of teamwork, watching players support each other & grow throughout the season. She loves seeing kids learn new skills, get better with every game & fall in love with the sport of baseball!
•Field Supervisor/All-Star Rep: Justin Arient
Justin is the epitome of a baseball fanatic! He has been an avid part of bringing all-star baseball back to the community of Orofino & devotes many months of the year to helping youth players practice. He has been a part of the Orofino Youth Baseball Board since 2024 & has coached in every league from rookies to majors. Justin loves baseball & enjoys spreading the love of the game with kids in the community!
•Concessions Manager: Bella Stemrich
Bella has 5 kids, some farm animals, a soap business & boys who absolutely love sports. She volunteers for Maniac Soccer, Orofino Youth Basketball & coached a minors team in 2025. Baseball has become a major part in their family’s life & she loves supporting the love of the game for kids! Her favorite part of baseball season is seeing how much the players grow & their love for the game intensify throughout the season! She is excited for the 2026 season, serving as the concessions manager for the board!
