Great way to refuel after your workout.

Yogurt, strawberries, and granola.

You could bump up the protein by choosing a protein yogurt or adding some protein powder.

While people might say this is so high in carbs, there is a lot of nutrition in this combination.

Why is this a good choice?

Keeping nutrition simple. Protein (chicken 7oz) seasoned with taco seasoning cooked with onions & 1 oz greek yogurt, complex carbs (250g baked potato), fat (1 oz queso fresco cheese), 1 Tbspn melted butter

I made the potatoes in the pressure cooker on high for 15 minutes. Frozen Tyson Rotisserie Chicken from Costco. Heat in pan with diced onions for 15 minutes. Stir in taco seasoning.

Meal Breakdown: 636 calories: 50g protein, 49g carbs, 26g fat

While this seems like a high calorie meal, it will keep me full for hours until dinner. No extra snacking or food focus.

Solid 26g protein, 23g carbs, 6g fats, 2g fiber = 253 calories

Nutrition does not have to be complicated. This sweet treat that ticks all the macro boxes and satisfying the sweet tooth.

I am excited to share my client's progress. I have had the pleasure of coaching Jerone on and off for 6 years. We first started working together in 2018. He was my first client from another country. During our first year together, he learned how to meal prep like a champ, navigate macros in a country that doesn't even have macros on packages. Of course, I had to introduce him to tacos which is not a typical cusine in his country.

As our friendship grew, he was the first client I ever had a one-on-one video call with me in the USA and him in the Europe. He got his personal training certification and has grown in many ways.

Life is not always rainbows. Jerone has navigated some personal challenges in the through the years which result in some weight gain. But my client and friend, Jerone came back to work with me 2023 with a vengence to reclaim the body he once had so he can live his best healthiest life. He shows up and puts in the work and has lost 82lbs.

His journey is not finished as he intends to lose a few more lbs and transition to a building phase. He understands that getting to where he wants is not a 6 month journey or a year but it will take years to acheive.

His transformation has been an inspiration to others around him and he intends on pursuing a career in personal training and life coaching.

To say I am proud of him would be an understatment. Please help me celebrate his current progress because the race isn't over yet.

A little back story.... Olivia and I connected on IIFYM pages during COVID. We both shared our creative ways to workout when equipment was limited. She even did deadlifts with some gardening equipment. We essentially became FB Besties. We live in different states across the country from each other.

Through the last few years I have had the pleasure of working with Olivia. She's joined some of my challenges and did some of my workouts. We connect on so many levels but one passion is fitness and nutrition. I even have the honor of assisting her husband with his journey and providing advisement for her son.

She has been instrumental in inspiring her family to be healthy.

From her picture, you can see she is jacked but she has struggled with many obstacles along the way but continues to persevere. Here is her testimonial.
