We’re incredibly honored to share that Capt. Scott was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation by the Ormond Beach Police Department for his assistance during an emergency on the Tomoka River.

When a jet ski carrying three riders collided with a tree in the middle of the Tomoka river, Capt. Scott immediately offered the use of his boat to help first responders search the water and shoreline. Working alongside emergency personnel, he helped locate the injured riders and assist in getting them safely back to shore, where they received the medical attention they needed.

We’re grateful for the dedication of all the first responders involved and proud of Capt. Scott’s willingness to step up and help when it mattered most.

Another great day on the water with Enviro Camp!

This morning we had the pleasure of spending time with another fantastic group of campers from Ormond Beach’s Enviro Camp, teaching them the basics of kayaking and water safety.

There’s nothing better than seeing kids build confidence, learn new skills, and develop an appreciation for the natural world around them. Thank you to the campers and counselors for a fun morning—we always look forward to these visits!

This morning we had the privilege of spending time with the amazing campers at Ormond Beach’s Enviro Camp!

We enjoyed teaching them about kayaking, water safety, and exploring the beautiful waterways that make our area so special. It’s always rewarding to see young adventurers get excited about being outdoors and learning new skills.

A big thank you to the campers and staff for welcoming us. We hope everyone had as much fun on the water as we did!

Even when the sun hides behind the clouds, there’s still plenty to enjoy at Tomoka Outpost!

Overcast days make for cooler adventures, peaceful views on the water, and the perfect excuse to slow down and relax. Grab a snack (like a Cup-ah Cajun), enjoy the breeze, rent a kayak or canoe, or just kick back and take in the beauty of the park. Sometimes the cloudy days end up being the best days.
