New Smyrna Quarter Midget Racing Association

New Smyrna Quarter Midget Racing Association Little New Smyrna is located in the infield of the New Smyrna Speedway. Quarter Midget Racing is for kids ages five through sixteen years old.

We race on Friday evenings starting @ 7:30pm. Admission is free to the public. Come out and join the fun!

8:45-9:15 Registration
9:00- Practice
9:50- Driver Handler Meeting
10:15- Heats and Mains

Fuel is 87 Octane and must be purchased from the Race Trac near I95
(3000 FL-44, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168 )on race day.

The Huntsville Dixie Shootout Series was intense, HOT🥵, and packed with some fierce competition but our drivers DID NOT BACK DOWN! They showed up, dug deep, fought hard, and represented New Smyrna Quarter Midget Racing Association.

Congratulations to all of our winners and podium finishers from our 8/23/2026 Points Race! 🏆

But I also want to give a HUGE shoutout to every single driver who stuck it out through the storm and never gave up! These kids showed patience and heart and we couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of them!

We truly have some amazing kids in our racing family, and we should ALL be proud of them! ❤️🤍🖤

I also want to give a huge thank you to the Bordeau Family and Estep Family for providing these amazing trophies EVERY race this season. We truly appreciate you and your support for these kids.

I also want to thank some of our families that stepped up and helped set up and take down the race event, who stepped up and helped dry the track and who asked what they can do to help. THIS is what makes our club.

Thank you to the EMTs Rob Lohr and Steve Roberts for keeping us safe..we know the storm put us in a hold but safety comes first.

At the end of the day, it’s all about the kids and that’s all that matters.

Rookie Training wasn’t just HOT tonight… we brought the LIGHTNING! 🔥⚡️⚡️

ALL of our Red Rookies did AMAZING, and we couldn’t be prouder! ❤️🖤🤍 We even had some new Reds in training tonight, and seeing all those smiles made it even better!

With all 3 of our Rookie Directors—past and present, in the house, we had some serious on-and-off-track training going on! 💪🏼

Our Bad to the Bone Blues 💙…well, the lightning decided it was their turn! ⚡️ Unfortunately, we had to cut their training short, but DON’T WORRY! We’re going to make it up to them! We’re already working on our September dates, and the Blues will be FIRST UP for the night!

A HUGE thank you to ALL of our rookie families!❤️ Your support, patience, and dedication mean so much to us. These kids absolutely ROCKED it tonight, and we couldn’t be prouder of every single one of them!
