Today is National Random Acts of Day and in honor of it, along with National Love Your Pet Day on February 20th, the students at VertiFit Aerial Arts chose the Humane Society as the deserving recipient for these special days.
Since all the students animals, and several who adopted their own pets from FHS it was an easy decision. We printed out the “Wish List” posted on the FHS website and began checking off the items. Together we collected over $2,000. in supplies including, dog and cat canned food and treats, dog toys, leashes, collars, harnesses, dog bedding and blankets, cat litter, medical supplies, and cleaning supplies.
As our local small business helps another, VertiFit owner and founder Barrie Michaels stated “It’s essential to consistently demonstrate the importance of selfless acts no matter how big or small. brings joy; and begins at home so, we will lead by example and hope it inspires others.”
FHS was surprised and delighted by the thoughtful and generous donation. Executive director Amy Wade Carotenuto stopped by to pick up the items along with her adorable mascot Walter! For more information on how you can help visit or your local 💝 Any day is a good day for 🥰
