Support Your Local Speed Skaters get to Nationals at our upcoming Fundraiser!

Join us at Astro Skate Ormond Beach for an evening of skating, fun, and community support as we help send 6 of our local athletes to the 2026 National Inline Speed Championships in Lincoln, Nebraska, July 8–13.
Ormond Beach is proudly known as the Birthplace of Speed, where racing history began on the hard-packed sands of our beaches. Today, that tradition of speed continues through our local inline speed skaters, who are training and competing at the highest levels of the sport.
The National Inline Speed Championships are the premier indoor event in the United States—the “Daytona 500 of Inline Speed Skating”—bringing together the nation’s fastest athletes to compete for national titles.
Astro Skate Ormond Beach is proud to be sending a team of talented young athletes who have worked tirelessly all year and currently rank among the top competitors in their age divisions in Florida:
- Violet Glass, 10 Elementary Girls Division
-Myla DeHaven, 10 Juvenile Girls Division
-Rylan Jones, 10 Juvenile Boys Division
- Isabella Quintero, 7 Primary Girls Division
- Zayvian Herbert, 7 Primary Boys Division

All proceeds go directly toward athlete travel and competition expenses.
Our team is coached by Doug Glass, 2-time World Champion, and Julie Glass, 16-time World Champion, who also co-manage Astro Skate Ormond Beach.
